Stay safe as cut short by owners due to home office taking over the whole hotel and £100 per night for refugees is more important than guests already booked had to move to their hotel near Bolton more than 20mins drive which was inconvenient for us dealing with a death in the family

Staff pleasant clean and tidy we were up sorting a relative that passed so didn’t really have much time at the hotel

They leave the heating on in the hotel regardless of the weather 🥵 sooo hot in the room Hot water not hot 🙈 And holy moly the floors are creaky 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Rooms were only “ok” - what I’ve come to expect from the Britannia chain. Another nearby room decided to have a loud party all night and there was a persistent ringing outside all night. Did not get a good sleep. The staff were also really blunt and rude. I wouldn’t bother going there again, not even for the cheap price.

Good location for accessing the motorway. It was very cheap for a night.

Unfortunately it was a busy night in the hotel and numerous guests continued to party until very early hours of the morning. The noise was unacceptable, and continued for many hours after the bar had closed.

Staff are exceptionally friendly helpful and do a marvellous job no matter how busy they are.

The room was so hot, it was so uncomfortable, i was told I cannot open the window as it’s a “safety feature” I only got a couple of hours sleep! The staff bought a fan to the room!

When enter the entrance, it was unclean with cigarette buds all over the floor. There was broken leather sofas everywhere. Was very outdated. The room was basic but not very well cleaned. Beard hairs or something over the floor. Beds were rock solid. Would not go back.

Corridor smelt bad like a smokers paradise. Bathroom had a leak by the sink so the floor was wet. Radiator was making a screeching sound all night

Bathroom floor and window sill dirty. Toilet not fixed to floor! Arrived Wednesday, very noisy Wednesday and Thursday night with doors constantly slamming loudly due to no soft closures. Room only cleaned before arrival.

Bed, carpets, sink and toilet clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Car park easy to access and well lit. Hotel was very reasonable in price but could easily improve in a few areas.

There was confusion with our booking and the cold tap in Bath did not work.

The room was clean and had everything you would needed in it. Beds was clean and made up well. Loved the fact I had tea and coffee ready for when I got to my room.

Picnic tables right outside ground floor rooms, allowing people to sit and drink till early hours disturbing other people's sleep, receptionist only interested in telling us we couldn't check in till 4pm when I was only enquiring about parking, all facilities still closed. Thank God for the pub across the road for some very nice food and staff.

It old fashioned, and is getting pretty run down, but it will do the job if your looking for an affordable stop off

The location and price were the main reasons why I booked a stay. It did the job for 2 nights.

Grounds in front of entrance not maintained and the carpet in the foyer was not clean-first impressions count

Lots of light in foyer and a good family pub/restaurant over the road for meals.

Rooms could do with an upgrade as the bathroom is outdated and taps were difficult to turn and ended up having a leaking drip. Room was also way too hot. Outside area of the hotel was dirty, beer cans thrown onto grass verge along with other debris, clearly no grounds maintenance being conducted.

I had booked via booking but some how it wasn’t showing in their booking list. I booked directly via hotel at the reception. Morning when the staff changed & my booking some how showed in their system & they deducted my money for booking.com reservation too. I have been chasing them for a refund but due to their lethargic policies my refund is still under approval process.
