Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe hotel exceeded our expectations. All staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, in fact the whole hotel was very clean and well presented. The location was also ideal for a show at Venue Cymru. One of our group had one of the 'accessible' rooms. The facilities were very good in the room, which has flat access to the car park and there was a lift in the hotel to access the breakfast room and bar area. The included breakfast was very good value.

United KingdomThe WiFi in the room was minimal. But in Llandudno it seems normal.
The convenient location on the seafront, nice staff, free parking, great value and the lovely food. You can eat dinner at the hotel if you pre-book.

United KingdomThe bathroom flooring needs to be redone. It’s also not very sound proofed so if you’re a light sleeper it’s not ideal. Server at breakfast was less than helpful with vegan options for one of our guests - wasn’t aware what was available and just said look at the menu - the menu just states vegetarian and vegan options available - so would be helpful if servers were more informed. No greek yoghurt available, just standard yoghurt pots, when asked if there was anything available that didn’t have lumps I was told I could have milk (!) I’ve recently had surgery and there was nothing suitable for me so just had a cup of orange. The rest of the party had cooked breakfasts which although were quite greasy were good value for the £6. Don’t use the milk for cereal unless it has just been put out as there is nothing to keep it cold so it heats up very quickly and warm milk on cereal doesn’t appeal. Over all though good value and I would stay here again.
The property is well maintained and is far better in ‘person’ than in the photos on the internet. We paid for a deluxe sea view double and it was very nice. Clean, well maintained and I particularly liked how they retain the remotes (wrapped in plastic) and presumably sanitise them after each guest. We didn’t dine in the evening at the hotel so can’t comment on that but you do have to pre-book and pre-order your food by 3.30pm on the day, which may not suit some people. The staff on check in were very lovely and welcoming. The front lounges down stairs were lovely but had children rolling around all of the place - it may be a thought to make one adult only? I have children myself but when going away on an adult only weekend it would be nice to be able to have down time without kids quite frankly being a pain! The prices of the bar (£13 for a bottle of wine) and also the food (£22 for 3 course I think) were all very reasonable indeed and again very good value for money.

United KingdomNo negatives
Been here on numerous occasions over the years and having been a frequent visitor to Llandudno and staying in various other hotels on the front I have to say this is the one we always love to come back to. The location; close to Venue Cymru, the beach, shops, everything really. It's a family run hotel and you feel that. Everything is available, a bar, lounge area with TV, breakfast room plus evening meal if desired. Even parking too, which on Llandudno Beach front is hard to find. I would say it's warm, cosy and homely.

United KingdomNice welcome, arrived late evening but wasn’t a problem. Rooms were clean and tidy and hot water straight away. Small room but there was only me and more than enough room. Nice bar area to sit and relax. The floors do creak so can hear adjacent and above rooms…can be annoying when the other guests forget there are other people staying. Breakfast was spot on (you need to arrange time slot for breakfast and they will give you a table-works well.) Didn’t have to wait long for food and was hot every day. I had one meal in the dining room which was delicious. I would have eaten more but the times didn’t suit me getting back to the hotel. Plenty of places to eat. Location is great, buses and trains a short walk (main road behind hotel more or less) so able to get anywhere. Staff are great, always friendly and happy to answer any questions. Info is in the book in the room so details how the hotel works. Would stay again.

United KingdomSingle room bed was very small indeed. Breakfast didn't start until 8am, which unfortunately for those of us that are working was too late. Other than that, it was fine for an overnight work trip.
Traditional style Hotel/ BNB located in Llandudno town center. Very close walking distance to town center facilities and the beach which was handy. Very nice refurbished rooms and nice reception staff with free parking which is always a bonus ( I did get the last space at 5pm, so be aware if you arrive later there won't be any)
