The grounds were so pretty and welcoming. Our room was lovely and immaculate. The outside area that protected from any rain was really lovely and the food at Le Papillon was out of this world!

The location is by a busy road so it is quite noisy during the day. The breakfast was rather disorganized and not very imaginative.

The restaurant was closed for one of the nights of my stay. I had not been warned and ended up buying a pizza from a local van. Not quite what you expect from a luxury hotel

The restaurant is close to the main road which can be quite noisy. You don't hear it at the rooms though.

Amazing place! Close to Grande Anse beach and easy to get to Deshaies. Very helpful staff, particularly related to figuring out things to do. Nice restaurant for the evening. Beautiful views and very nice rooms.

Breakfast service was lacking in food choices and definitely more service workers are required as food items and juices were always empty.

I would have loved more control over keeping mosquitoes out of the room. Phone coverage on site would have been great. A mosquito net perhaps at the edge of the balcony would have been ideal then we could have used the balcony kitchens with no fear of being eaten alive and in comfort...

The room was lovely, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom etc. Strange decision to put the kitchen on the balcony, as there is such a huge problem with mosquitoes it became uncomfortable to cook/eat outside, not to mention the hygiene with the flurry of cats that were always hanging around, climbing on tables etc. The facilities were lovely, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the issue with no cover of any kind for our mobiles, not controlled by the hotel I know, but it was a bit of a pain. The location was great, so close to the town and the beach where we got to see all the set of Death in Paradise. If you like this programme you should visit between May-Oct to see them film it seems....

Breakfast not worth the money. Grande anse beach lovely but big waves the whole time.

Really beautiful garden and nice buildings with great terraces. Loved the restaurant (which is closed on Wednesdays). Good size shop 200 meters away at the petrol station. Cleaning every 4 days. Comfy beds, reasonable wifi.

many mosquitos in my room when i cheked in. more than 50 mosquitos. no mosquito net or anti-mosquito spray in the room.

There was only one chair in the room - a second one would be useful, especially if weather didn’t permit sitting outside. The breakfast was quite expensive, so we catered for ourselves. The microwave was situated too high and therefore considered dangerous. There was no chest of drawers, which would be very useful, and only a small shelf beside the bed - a cabinet would be preferable.

The proximity to the beach and Deshaies. There was a useful small store at the nearby service station for basic essentials. Being able to prepare meals etc on the terrace - the kitchenette was well equipped. The outlook was pleasant and the grounds very attractive and well maintained. The staff were very pleasant & accommodating, rubbish was collected daily.

Location: Easy walk to beach restaurants, and a 15 minute drive to wonderful snorkeling. The property and pool are well maintained. The staff is accommodating. Also, offering a good, full breakfast @ 7pm is a plus.

Internet was a huge problem inside the room. Was off and on constantly and only near the room door worked sometimes. Private data had to be used even for the smallest things. Just a reduced number of rooms have sea view.

Location in a quiet place and not far from the wonderful beach. Cleaning was really good. Reception staff was helpful and kind.

Rooms are very spacious, outside kitchen, enough place nice terrace to seat under the palm trees. Till Grande Anse beach by walk, till Plage Perle you need a car. Located in a beautiful park very tranquill with swimmingpool.

This was by far the best place I stayed in Guadeloupe and so peaceful. The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. The food in the restaurant was excellent and it's a short walk to the beach. The room was very comfortable, the kitchen/patio is perfect for relaxing. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Deshaies is about a 10 minute drive away, there are buses but it's much easier with a car. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful to unwind, then I would highly recommend staying here.

The breakfast buffet could have been organized a bit better (e.g., put the milk next to the coffee instead of in a separate room). The wifi actually worked fine for us, but only in our room and not in the restaurant. We didn't get cell phone reception (Vodafone) anywhere in Deshaies - of course this isn't the hotel's fault, but helpful to know before you book.

Beautiful property and location, comfortable and tastefully decorated room, wonderful staff - very friendly, helpful and professional. Gorgeous view from our room!
