Road noise of a nighttime was a bit of an annoyance.

Really well maintained, nice pool and clean rooms. Friendly and helpful reception. Short walk to Megalochori which is a lovely village with great restaurants.

Bathroom was small. But from speaking to other people staying in other parts of the island, this is a common thing and the big room space def made up for it. The pool being closed (cordoned off with rope) at 8pm was a bit disappointing as it was super hot when we stayed. But that also seemed to be a common trend as another place we stayed had that too.

Lovely big apartment, good size pool, beautiful building and surrounding area, super friendly and amenable staff/hosts. The little town of megalachori nearby was really pretty with decent wineries and cafes/restaurants.

The hot tub was cold.

The staff are super friendly and very welcoming. The location I would say is right between the main capital and the beach. You will need to hire a car / quad but everything is very accessible from this location. There is the option of a bus but we found the quad much more fun and enjoyable to explore the island. Within a 3/8 min walk you can reach the little town or a large supermarket.

The location was perfect to explore the island. The hotel rooms were clean and the pool was great to use. The parking provided was great as it allowed us secure parking for our rental car. The staff were very friendly and gave us great tips for our holiday.

The WiFi isn't strong and had a tendency to disconnect, especially in the evenings when more people are using it.

We stayed for seven nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and had housekeeping available every day. Maritina is very friendly and helpful, and was able to provide some useful recommendations in Santorini. There is a good amount of parking spaces at Abelonas and we never struggled to find a parking space there. Located in Megalochori, Abelonas is ideal for travelling around Santorini, and there is also a bus stop in front of the accommodation (called Vedema - remember the name if you're going to use the bus as the bus drivers in Santorini need to be told this otherwise they won't stop there!) Abelonas also has a very nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. There is no breakfast but there is a supermarket within 10 minutes walk / 3 minutes drive from the accommodation, and restaurants in the area. Thank you Abelonas Village for making our stay in Santorini a great one! 😊

The only "cons" (which I can't even describe as cons because everything was really good to be fair :D) : if you are a very light sleeper like me, consider bringing ear plugs just because you can hear other guests sometimes.

The room was cozy and extremely clean. They have a cleaning service 8-12 every morning where they clean your room, change towels and refill the toilettries which is great. Every room has a lovely dehor. There are also common drying racks which is really handy when drying towels or swimsuits. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are soooo beautiful and relaxing. We came in mid September so the vibe was always very chill. The owners are an amazing family, always going out of their way to help you and provide you with information or transfers or other services (like hiring an ATV or transfer to airport). We had an amazing time! Santorini is expensive and I found this place to be extremely fair in terms of quality and position. There is a bus stop just outside the villa as well. Nice bakery, mini market and other facilities are all walking distance in Megalochori which is a lovely village, well positioned when getting to other places around the island.

Gianna the owner is super sweet and helpful. She gave us late checkout and a snack and let us store our luggage and use the pool and shower after checkout. Overall very kind people and wonderful stay. Megalochori the town nearby is my favorite town in Santorini.

The noise from the street can get a little annoying in the early hours of the morning. The quad bike tyres make a real racket which carries if the wind is blowing toward the hotel.

There was nothing to dislike. We had a lovely relaxing week, in a lovely place, and felt truly welcome.

The property is perfectly placed to access anywhere on the island. We hired a quad bike, which meant we could see every part of the island. The property is spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable and the lovely owners could not have been nicer. Nothing is too much trouble. The pool area is great, very clean and the jacuzzi is an added bonus. The rooms are cleaned daily. There’s no rush to leave the room each morning for the cleaner. She watches for you to go out and then nips in. This doesn’t sound like much, but it was nice to relax and not feel in anyway rushed. We have stayed in Santorini numerous times, but this was the first time at Abelonas. We will definitely stay here again on future visits. Thank you Abelonas village. We loved staying with you.

Nice quiet place, at the center of the island (15 minutes from Akrotiri, Perissa with a quad, 30 minutes to Oia). Confortable, the balcony was good to chill and the pool was also very welcomed. Thanks to the staff for making our trip easier (transfert and quad reservations) and for their availability.

Abelonas Village is perfectly located in Megalochori, which is surely the most beautiful place of the island. The public bus stops just in front of the compound and carries you southbound to the beaches of northbound to Fira. The hostess is super kind, helpful and speaks different langages.
