we had a 2 bedroom, the main one's mattress was great but the one upstairs wasn't as comfy - not terrible.Sheets were great and the robes/slippers were a nice addition.

This hotel is in the most incredible location on the west coast of Santorini with amazing views over the caldera. It is also decorated to a very high standard and the staff are very helpful. Lots of steps though so not for anyone with limited mobility.

Loved everything but need to be aware there are many steps to the property … so quite a challenge climbing the stairs every time we went out. Porters were next level amazing carrying our suitcases down and back up. They deserve a medal 👏. Stairs would be difficult for those with young children or mobility issues.

Spectacular location at Firostefani, amazing views, beautiful large rooms and balconies and terraces, amazing pool and pool bar and all staff were so helpful and happy. Only about a 15 minute walk to Fira but far enough away to be out of the crowds.

no complaints but unlikely to return to Santorini again as the ratio of cruise ships and tourists is ridiculous and it feels more like Key West Florida with hordes of tourists milling around - thank goodness Agali House is at the bottom of the steps and thankfully quiet and away from all the crowds of tourists crowding the upper steps to take sunset pictures

This is a first-class boutique hotel with first-class customer service and incredibly helpful and strong staff who heaved our luggage up and down 100+ stairs in one go - impressive. Our room offered an incredible view of the Aegean and the Caldera. Our room was quiet and clean with adjustable a/c and a comfy bed. The pool area and the surroundings were incredible. This really is a wonderful place to stay. Dimitri and Milkti (not sure of spelling) were attentive and organized our port>hotel and hotel>airport shuttles for us and helped us with luggage up and down all those steps - everything was very organized and went smoothly. Read all the reviews before you book at this location. We were aware that there are many many many steps to descend and go up daily and the hotel does not accept any friends or family as guests that may be staying in different hotels to you - we got it - we understood why, this is a quiet hotel and there is only so much space around the pool for sun-loungers - I am writing this here as we were prepared for the strict guest rules!

The bedroom was too small and not what we thought we were getting. It said there was a sitting area in the room and there was no sitting area. This was disappointing.

The views were spectacular. The location was terrific. The decor in our room was very updated.

we are a fit and active 70/71yo couple but we struggled with all the steps. there are over 95 steps just to the entry then many more to your room. just saying keep it in mind. a porter will carry your luggage.

Agali houses is 5 star beautiful property. all the staff from reception to breakfast and pool were amazingly friendly. they went out of their way to help when our ferry was cancelled.

As everyone mentions there are a lot of stairs even though you know this before you go they do take you by surprise and they are hard work to get up but it would not stop us visiting again as it’s so worth the stairs for the views.

The staff and location at Agali Houses were excellent Just returned from 7 night stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful we were delayed in getting to our holiday because of flight cancellations and none of this was a problem for them it really helped a stressful situation. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the cauldera, I had read other reviews of guests having a problem with having to wait a little while for the water to heat for the shower I can honestly say this was not a problem at all takes only a few minutes to heat and we never ran out of hot water. The room was clean and very pretty and had an amazing caldera view. Staying in Firastefani is ideal it’s away from the crowds but easy to reach Fira in a short walk. Thank you all at Agali for a lovely holiday

The room didn’t have much storage. We were three in a room and we couldn’t fit our stuff. Also, there’s a lot of stairs to arrive to the hotel.

The stairs were pretty intense! Great for the body but they were challenging at times. The pool area is a little small to accommodate the guests and there aren’t many shady areas. Our private balcony was in sun for most of the day, while they did provide an umbrella it was still quite hot. I wish I had booked a room with a private pool in retrospect. It’s a shame the hotel doesn’t offer dinner.

This accommodation is family owned and this comes to through. The care taken with the shared area, rooms, meals, service, advice as to what to do is exceptional. Owe thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation to recommend this beautifully presented and cared for accommodation. Yes, steps were hard but spare a thought for the gentleman who carried our bags while smiling to us as well. From the moment I contacted Agali to the moment we left we were treated as part of the Agali family. Thank you for everything.
