Cute kitties turn out to be a bit annoying when you want to enjoy your dinner at the terrace. It is not suitable accommodation for those with an allergy to cats. The owner should consider writing this into the description of the accommodation as they are not one or two, but maybe ten.

Kind, welcoming owner - welcomed us with a bottle of local wine, bread and marmalade which is great when you come from the airport and didn't have time to shop yet. The accommodation was simple and clean, with the option to enjoy sunset at the terrace.

Felt like a second home after the first day. The location is great, very close to the beach and the apartment has everything you need (private bathroom, kitchenette, AC, hairdryer, water heater, iron, and so on). Cleaning lady comes daily. Supermarket is very close by. The stairs were a plus for us, as we liked the terraced layout and the additional physical activity when going up. You can watch the beautiful sunset from the upper terrace. Lots of friendly cats. George was great, always bringing some small gifts and giving us very useful advice regarding the island. To say it's good value for money would be a understatement. We enjoyed our vacation here and surely will book again on our second Corfu visit.

Leaving the place, we wanted to stay more! 🫠

We loved everything. In fact, it was hard to leave the place, and we are definitely planning to return. George, the owner, was super welcoming and friendly, and it was a pleasure to meet him - we asked for good places to visit, and we visited all the restaurants he suggested, no regrets at all! The place (Akis apartments) had everything we needed. We felt home. The kitchen was simple and functional, all very clean. The view from those terrace apartments was breathtaking, and it is 6 minutes waking to the Kontogialos beach, which is a paradise beach and well served with bars! It is also easy to access Yaliscari Beach (20 minutes by foot/less than 10 min drive), simply stunning, and there is a great restaurant as well(Thanks, George)! Also, it is 5/8 min far from Pelekas centre by car, which is lovely, with a few good restaurants and cocktail bars. There is a small market 2 min walk from Akis apartments, nothing missing there. We had a car rented, but some of our neighbours told us they were returning to George's places for the second/third time, and they were only using buses there, which we will consider for next time. Kontogialos/Pelekas was our favourite spot after visiting other places in Corfu. Thanks, George and team. We hope to see you again soon❤️

There is not a single thing not to like here

It was amazing, everything! George, the host, was an overwhelming positive person, extremely kind to us & wonderfully helpful. The bedrooms & the bathroom were perfectly clean, the house, the terrace welcoming, it really felt like a sweet home far away from home🩵 And the view...I mean, you could see the sea directly from your bed🌊 also, astonishing view for the sunset!🌞

We spent a week in the appartment of George, as a family of six persons. Everybody found the appartment amazing, especially due to a stunning view on the see, practical equipment of the rooms, nice terrase, quiet place and at the same time proximity to the beach (5 minutes). Also there is a supermarket in a one-minute distance. Thank you George once again, we really enjoyed our stay

We loved it! We loved George! You have the beach 5 minute from the Apartment. A great view. You can stay there and just listen the waves. Initially, we were 5 persons, but we came 6 and George helped with towels and everything for the extra person. George gave us very good fresh bread and many others! I trully recomand

The position in not near to the corfu town/airport/port so you need reserve immediately the scooter/car to go to the apartment.

The Owner of the house help you for everything you need ( taxi booking/scooter reservation). A cleaner person come every day to clean the apartment. In the fridge you can find the wine offered and somethings for the breakfast. In the house you find the hairdryer, soap. From the apartments you have the beach 5 minutes by foot and tou can see the sunset.

The WiFi signal inside the room is bad. You can only get it to work near the head of the bed. This was not a huge issue to me.

The owner is very friendly. The room had all the amenities you could think of and then some more. It is very close to the beach. I was given a free bottle of wine. The AC blows cold, the bed is big and soft, the water is warm, the fridge had marmalade and butter inside.

I have been very well looked after by George ( the owner) and his family from the moment of booking until the check out time nothing was too much trouble for them. I felt they are like my family. Despite my very late arrival, George was waiting for me smiling and welcoming me to the apartment, offered me traditional local products for the breakfast , and a bottle of cold water and wine. He also told me everything I needed to know about the area, showed me around .The beach is close by, has the sand and the water very similar to the one I have seen in Maldives. Absolutely loved every minute spent there. At the departure George gave me a bag of traditional nuts as gift as well. I am so looking forward to go back.

Mold smell at the apartment, maybe need better ventilation

Super friendly owner George, spacious clean vintage style apartment. The sandy beach with crystal clear water is 5 minutes away by foot. Got 3 bottles of delicious wine for free. Kaiser William II Observatory at the top of Pelekas has superb view of the island.

Nice appartement on probably the best beach in Corfu not too crowded. George the landlord is just great. Very helpful with a big smile. Brought us some tomatoes, bread and wine and even travelled all the way from Corfu city one evening when we were locked outside with the keys inside. Thanks again George! 😄

Sometimes the drain in the bathroom stinks, but the bathroom overall is clean!

We really enjoyed our stay at Akis Apartments! The location is great, near the beach (max. 5min with kids) and a small super market (1 min). The beach is perfect for kids. George (the owner) is a really nice guy and cares lovingly for his guests. We're really glad that we met him and Akis Apartments!

Lovely apartment, very spacious with lots of character, terrace with a view on the sea. George was a very friendly host, gave us some complimentary food. About 3 minutes to the local supermarket, 10 minutes to the beach. Kids loved the place and we would definitely come back.

Akis Apartments was perfect for a relaxing holiday. The beach is moments away and George was so kind, he gave us fresh home grown tomatoes, Greek wine and bread. It is a little difficult to travel round Corfu without a car (the nearest bus is a 30 minute uphill walk away, difficult in the heat!) but the location itself is beautiful. The photos do not do the view from the apartment justice. Very good value.

Everything was perfect. The view to the sea was stunning. Nearby is Kontogialos beach, a supermarket and restaurantes.The host, Iorgus, was very kind, he gave us homemade bread, kumquat and vegetables from his mother's garden.We ate very well at Antonios Tavern in Pelekas and at Spyros on Kontogialos beach.
