The lift is small . While the tea and coffee are complimentary, many of the goodies on the coffee table cost more than twice as much outside.

The hotel room was lovely and confortable, dinner was excellent and breakfast amazingly great. The hotel staff were nice, hospitable, very helpful and made their best to make you feel at home away from home. Greece has an excellent tradition of hospitality and Amalia hotel gets a top score in that respect.

Noise from the road outside, though this is harder to avoid in a city centre location.

Location is excellent - easy access to all sites visited, good transport connections and close to everything in the city centre. The room was good, with a great view of the park opposite, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good - a great variety to choose from.

The location is amazing. We couldn't ask for better. It was our first time in Greece and Athens. We only had 2 days and being in the centre of all the activities and sites were amazing. Breakfast was a wonderful spread and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar has an amazing view.

Location can't get any better. Rooms were spacious and super clean like all areas of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially at the roof garden bar/ restaurant. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Felt like our room may have been a smoking room in the past. Did not smell fresh. Lucky we only stayed one night for this reason.

Great location for the gardens and a walk to the stadium, Temple of Zeus, and Lycabettus Hill. Also great for a short walk into Plaka. Breakfast was great. Rooms are a generous size. The bathroom was well stocked.

Bathrooms very small and controls on over bath shower very low. Better to have walk in showers although walk in shower in one of our rooms was very small.

We have travelled the world, and this hotel has the best breakfast of any we have ever been to. All of the staff were exceptional. We had the opportunity to dine at the rooftop restaurant that had just opened and it was fabulous.

The aircondition did not work properly, it was really hot in the room as we had room facing the east side (the main street). And also, it was noisy from the street, so could not leave windows open to get colder air in. Try to book room not facing the main street.

Great location - close to all metro lines (also from the airport) and the airport bus. And the hop on hop off stops right in front of the hotel. Close to Plaka to have nice dinner and to shopping district and major sights. Rooms big enough, breakfast buffet big and with lots of variety.

The room was spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ideal for a good night’s sleep after a long day walking. The breakfast buffet offered many options, both sweet and savoury, keeping us full till dinner time. Finally, all the staff were exceptional, everyone was always greeting us with a smile and were extremely helpful with all our requests.

Location is perfect. It is in the city center. Breakfast with a large varieties of food. Room is as clean and tidy Staff is polite and helpful This is not my first stay at Amalia Hotel Whenever I come to Athens, I stay at Amalia. Will definitely recommend it to everybody.

The sound of traffic is boring. The doors and windows must be changed to be soundproof. Overall the hotel even though is in a good condition but needs renovation.
