Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

We would appreciate double bed, but that's just a small detail. Everything else was great.
Communication with the owners was smooth. The location is great, the shop is just a few steps from the accomodation. Also the restaurants around are great and the bus stop of green line to Corfu town is around 50 meters away.

Lovely place with access to the swimming pool in the nearest hotel. Very friendly staff taking care of cleanliness every day. Very good location. Nice view.

Nothing everything satisfactory bed a bit hard at first but I got used to it,mattress and pillows had covers on them, it's a personal thing as everyone loves their own bed.No pool but you can use the pool just 5 mons away as long as you buy a snack,
Have stayed in Anemona 4 yrs ago, accommodation has been updated, new bathrooms are lovely, cleaned every day, kostas and family very friendly and helpful

The hosts were super nice to us! They really helped us with everything and anything we wanted and we are really thankful for them. The stay was so nice we even got to use the pool next door.

It would be good if there is a shower curtain or door on the shower.
We had a great terrace, the room was very clean. There is a store right above, a rent a scooter place at one side, a great pool bar with entrance to the sea very close by. The location is great and the room had everything we needed.

The studio was perfect. Had everything I needed. Close to the beach and restaurants and cafés. There's a bus stop nearby too so it's easy to get there with public transportation. Kostas was a great host. He was really helpful when I had questions and would reply quick. Nice guy.

Bed base wasnt fixed in the bed. Some planks fell down in the middle of the night. The rest was perfect!

With a motorcycle it wasn’t that bad that it was uphill and far away from the beach, just be prepared for walking long distances!

Quiet lower room at the back looking out onto garden. Brand new modern bathroom and surprisingly cool- didn’t need to use the aircon! Thank you Kostas, you’re a gentleman.

The host was very friendly, the location is good if you also want to visit the beaches in Liapades (Rovinia and Liapades beaches, not only in Palaiokastritsa), as there is a 10minute hiking walk to the other village. There are many restaurants and bars near the room, and a mini market to buy basic groceries. The buses go very often from/to Corfu, comparing to other nearest villages. The facilities felt like they were freshly renewed and everyday the maid cleaned the room, which surprised me in a good way. Totally recommend the location!

Not a thing!
Perfect location and super clean. Supermarket on road with everything you need and fair prices. 2 mins walk to a pool you can use for free with snacks and drinks available. About 15 minutes walk to the beach. Bus stop right outside to Corfu town. They clean the room every day. It was LOVELY!

There are lots of mosquitos in the area so a mosquito net would be useful on the balcony door.
The staff is super kind and helpful. The apartment is perfectly clean and the view is amazing. Beautiful beaches are 2 minutes away (by car) and there is a fantastic pool close to the aparment that you can use for free. The owner has a supermarket in the same building which is very convenient.

A shower curtain/door would be great, to avoid wet floor.
One of the cleanest place I've ever stayed at! It has a lovely garden view, quiet, close to nature. Check in and out was easy, welcome was kind.

good service, interesting place. Near a local store. If you go along the main road, then there are slopes to the beaches. Also nearby is an interesting place with a bar and a descent into the water in the rock. I liked everything, thanks
