You need to use the shower head free style standing in the bath. It’s really not a big issue, but I thought I’d mention it as it may not be suitable for children without them flooding the bathroom :)

Everything was great!

Location was perfect - close to shops, supermarkets and the beach. Apartment was big - bedroom and kitchen very large and plenty of wardrobe & drawer space. Kitchen had all the facilities if you wanted to cook. Spotlessly clean and nice bedding and towels. Lovely terrace looking directly onto the bay. Bathroom a bit on the small size but not a problem to us. Maria and her husband are absolutely wonderful - so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. They are a real credit to this property and made our stay at Artemis very special. Thank you so much.

Double bed mattress was uncomfortable so we used the two single beds which were fine. Shower over bath was difficult to use without spraying water on to floor.

Perfect location, only 2 mins walk from the beach but set up on the cliffside with an amazing view over the bay. Lovely private garden with table, chairs and loungers.

The location is superb with amazing views, the photographs don't really do them justice. The apartment was clean and spacious. the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Being set on the hillside overlooking the village is great as it is only a five minute walk to the restaurants and shops but is peaceful with wonderful views, did I mention the views? I would not hesitate to stay there again.

the bathroom is a bit awkward - had shower only in a rather bouncy bath. no mat in the bath or handrail to help you get in. not really suitable for those with impaired mobility.

The location is on top of a hill which gives great views but may be a bit challenging for the less mobile. Parking is a bit of a lottery if there is someone parking in the allocated space. The property is a bit dated but that is reflected in the price.

Great views over Almyrida. We were in the 3 bedroom apartment. The hosts were very friendly. The apartment is great value for money and has lots of space for a family.

This is very much nitpicking, but it would've been nice to have a microwave oven. Similarly, for a two-week stay, a washing machine would've been helpful, but again, definitely not a dealbreaker and we were aware of that when making the booking anyway. We would still come back despite these things. Other than these minor things, no complaints really.

The host was super friendly and helpful. The location was amazing, we had a seafront view which meant we could enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the lovely balcony. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Towels and bed linen were changed regularly and within the time windows we asked for.

One of the best located places in Almyrida with 5 balconies facing the sea, and only 3 minutes walk from the beach and the taverns. The host is very kind and helpful. The fridge broke down and she managed to get us a new one immediately. The apartment is clean and spacious, so are the rooms.

Absolutely nothing!!

The list is endless! Maria and her husband are delightful, and will do anything to make your stay comfortable. It is my second time staying at Artemis Apartments and it is in one of the best locations in the village with incredible views. The apartment I stayed in, was like a home away from home! I don’t want to say too much; otherwise I might not be able to book again next year!!

The bathroom is very big but needs updating

The apartment was very spacious & had wonderful views of Souda Bsy & the White Mountains. It has a lovely balcony which is surrounded by glass which enhances the view. The harbour & restaurants are immediately below the apartment and can be reached in about 10 minutes walk (a bit slower coming back). Surrounding countryside very pretty & interesting . Hostess very friendly although her English is not fluent. She was very helpful & the apartment was very clean.

Nothing - it was perfect!

The garden apartment has an amazing location, looking west over the bay. It’s the best spot to watch the sunset. Maria was so welcoming and friendly. Everything was squeaky clean! The bedroom is roomy, has air con and the bed is very comfortable. The kitchen/diner is really spacious. The kitchen was well equipped and well laid out, with everything we needed. The bathroom is small and basic. If that matters to you, maybe choose somewhere else - we were fine with it. Everything is much nicer than the photos! The terrace is amazing. We had dinner there almost every night, watching the sun set. In Almirida, the supermarket is a ten minute walk away. Restaurants and bars are closer. The beach as others have said is a 300m walk downhill. We loved the beach bar directly under Maria’s place - the second best place to watch the sunset! The sea was gorgeous - so warm and clear.
