Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I liked all, maybe breakfast could have been better, but there was everything needed - coffee, cereals, meat, etc. And a little minus was that the staff didnt spoke good in English or Russian, just one lady was good enough.
I went to Santorini Island from the hotel offered tours, it was amazing, the most beautiful trip, saw the Blue churches, dunkies, white traditional houses, the environment in the island, etc. The hotel administration were so sweet, since we missed breakfast due the trip, they provided us with a little breakfast package. The rooms were cleaned everyday, as well as new towels were provided! The view from the room was just magical - one side city centre, one - the sea. Location was better than expected - near the old town.

Small room. No sea view anywhere (photo on website misleading). Didn’t like the white wine in the bar.

The room was spacious, bright and nice. More importantly, it was clean. Although I stayed for 2 nights only and expected the room not to be cleaned for such a short stay, I found it cleaned and tidied up on the 2nd day, which was beyond expectations. There was a hairdryer, soap, shampoo and shower gel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included some traditional local delicacies and the hotel was located close to the sea front, tge old port of Koule and the Morozini fountain in the centre of the city. Definitely excellent value for money.

The bed could be more comfy. The mattress was a little...stiff. Same goes for the pillows. they were so soft, they were almost not present

Rooms were very clean with everything you need. The balcony was a real bonus to have. Staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was superb. This hotel was in a great location too. Overall the hotel was excellent.

The balcony was very small. Also be aware if you book a tour the bus can not come up the street and pick up for use was around the corner on the main street out side the heritage museum.
The Breakfast was one of the better ones, with lovely home made local treats, they had car rental and reception staff very helpfuly with attractions.

Very good hotel in the centre of Heraklion. Very polite staff and good breakfast. My family always stays there because it has everything we need for a short break in Heraklion.

The hotel room was great and had everything I needed. The balcony was a great addition and made the room. I had a twin but would have preferred a double but that is more of a personal preference. Breakfast was excellent and loved the option of indoor or outdoor eating. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I needed a place to stay for just one night in the town of Heraklion before catching an early morning ferry. I received an early check in, and the desk agent arranged a gluten-free breakfast box for the morning. The hotel is sparkling clean, and my dinner in the restaurant was delicious! The location is close to the port and just steps from the heart of downtown. I highly recommend a stay!
