Our stay at Hotel Avra was lovely. The location is perfect, right in front of the sea. The room was clean & tidy - a simple place, which had everything we needed for our stay. The highlight was how truly welcoming & kind the lady who runs the hotel was. Can't wait to go back - wish I could have a homemade Greek coffee in the sunny outside area of the hotel as I did while I was there!

There was a bad smell in the bathroom.

The sea coast is right in front of the hotel with a nice sandy beach. The hotel offers a big parking with enough place for cars of the guests.

Dusty road in front. Local officials should fix that... Our balcony was in shade, so it was difficult to dry beach towels. Fortunately, our host had the solution (thank you again!).

We had a nice stay at Hotel Avra. Located at the end of Ouranopolis, with a local beach right in front. We could have a swim and come back to the hotel in a minute. Staff was friendly and welcomming. Family ran accomodation. They answered to every our question and request. Clean room, towels changed every day. Private parking was available all the time during our stay. Ouranopolis is nice and calm place to spend your summer holiday. Use a boat ride and relax at Drenia Island beach or use a car and go to a beach bar on the other side of the Ouranopolis (to Tripiti) or even go to Ierissos (20 minutes by car). Always check for the wind and then decide where to spend your day... Unbeatable value for money on Athos!

The place was great value for money! At the end of the village but still close to the center and beaches. We had a compliment home-made cake every day when ordering coffee! Our towels were changed every day and the place was sparkling clean! The staff very polite! We are satisfied! :)

Very Calm and cozy place and excellent hotel. Rooms are very clean, comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated with an amazing sea view. Location is excellent, right a front of the sea. There's not much they could have done better. It was excellent.

Ocean front view was the best views I've seen in ouranoupoli. Its right next to the line for Mount Athos. I would definitely recommend.

we come here for the 4th time and we love it! the hotel has rooms facing the sea, it’s at the end of the ‘busy’ part of town, so you can really enjoy the calmness and sound of the sea sitting on the terrace. A wild beach is just 2 mins away right in from of hotel gates. it’s a family owned place with very friendly owners. It is very clean, rooms are serviced every day which is very good for a beach stay. we will keep coming back
