No place to set your shampoo and soap while in the shower. It would not be a great expense for the hotel to have a shelf in the shower to hold your little shampoo bottles and soap. This was the only downside of this room.

Location-Close to ferry harbor and pedestrian area, but tucked in a bit, so quiet to sleep. Good buffet for breakfast. Staff very nice. A comfortable enjoyable stay.

Breakfast was excellent very good hotel very clean from ferry 10 mn main bus station and restaurant very near 5 mn this hotel must be 3 three star hotel all personnel was helpfull very gently and the architectiral design of building was perfect with balcony and little garden congratulation for owner

Comfortable, tasteful, clean and friendly. It’s down a quiet side street but just a short walk from the ferry terminal and close to lots of restaurants, the bus stop, bars and shops. Good breakfast with lots of options and a roof terrace with a lovely view.

The room was super clean, perhaps recently renovated, with good linen, good aircon, and I was quite pleased, and good value. I arrived on a ferry at 2am, and so this hotel was only 100m away, which made my first night on Patmos very easy

First and foremost: the mattresses. We had a twin-bed room. The mattresses were narrow - something we could have lived with. But they were also extremely soft which led to back pain and difficulties to sleep (and we two are of very different shape and weight). It surprised me as previous reviews had referred to beds that had been too hard - now the other extreme. The water kettle also did not work as the electrical plug did not fit into the socket (completely different shape/system). We used our own to make tea.

We liked the room with attached balcony (table and two chairs) where we sat in the evening eating fruit, drinking tea and watching what was going on in the narrow lane below. The bathroom was fine, aircon worked well, there was a fridge - all new appliances. The breakfast was offered at the check-in at a rate of an additional Euro 5 per person per day - and it was more than worth it. Ms Galina took exceptional care of the breakfast room and the guests in such a calm and attentive manner. Thank you!

The locatiion was more than great, less than 80 m from the port and the center! The room was very clean, with daily changes of towels etc. The stuff was very friendly and helpful in every occasion.

Not much of a view, but you get what you pay for.

A clean andcomfortable hotel, very good value for money, with helpful staff. Byzance Hotel is in a narrow lane off the harbour, and a short walk to the busy centre of Skala, the Ferry, and the bus and taxi stations.

Wonderful experience! Small but clean room, stocked with all the amenities. Very friendly staff and great breakfast with delicious pastries. The location is on a quiet street, steps from the harbour.
