Actually nothing to dislike, but to note: Hotel entrance cannot be accessed by cars (lane is too narrow), so luggage will have to be carried for about 50-60 m. Inside the hotel no elevator, be prepared to climb some stairs to get to the room.

Located in a quiet lane of the old town, and yet just a (very) short walk from the more bustling part with its Taverns and shops. Historical buildings converted into a small but superb boutique hotel. Amazing, historical architecture. Our room was #9, actually like a penthouse apartment, including a very nice roof terrace with a view over the old town. Very friendly management, very professional and helpful.

This is an amazing old property, part of an old Hammam in the heart of the Old town of Rethymno, it is very special to be inside of this and to stay there. The hosts were really kind, helpful and welcoming.

Nothing everything was perfect.

The property is in an excellent position with everything in walking distance. The property has been restored to a very high standard, it is an amazing building. The owners are so helpful and accommodating, with lots of good places to visit and eat, nothing is too much trouble and there’s always someone there to assist you. The perfect hosts.

The big room had a good vibe . Beautiful interieur and exterieur. Very friendly owners. Very helpful in every way. So comfy to sleep. It is an relaxing experience. And still all the restaurants and touristic area is close by.

The Casa Dei Delfini is just gorgeous. It feels high-end and luxurious, but also has an intimate, cosy, easy-going atmosphere. The courtyard, with it's dolphin mosaic and verdant greenery, is beautiful, the beds are comfy, and I loved the fact that our bathroom was a 500 year old hammam! The breakfast was delicious (especially the Cretan pie with greens, and the sour cherry compote) and the staff were cheerful and welcoming. The location is great, too - on a quiet street right in the labyrinth of the old town, surrounded by craft shops and cafes and friendly cats.

As gorgeous as all the photographs suggest! Truly boutique hotel in a fabulous location close to an amazing choice of restaurants and tavernas. As I stayed for a week it was so useful to have the kitchenette and terrace. Konstantinos and his family were so helpful and welcoming. Pristine, sympathetic renovation of an old town building. You can feel this history in the walls, yet benefit from all the modern comforts. Amazing shower, comfortable beds and so quiet at night.

The Wi-Fi isn’t great…. (Sorry).

The hotel is a beautifully renovated old olive mill with several tastefully decorated individual rooms. Ours was split-level and roomy with a lovely little terrace - perfect for us. Everyone was very welcoming, and the owners always on hand to answer any questions. It’s centrally-placed but very quiet and discreet. The whole place is very thoughtfully and elegantly done.

Everything was magnificent.

Gorgeous renovation of an older building that was perfectly placed, close to all you want to see in Rethymno it in a quiet area. Our room was absolutely lovely with a little internal balcony to sit & enjoy some drinks or read. The breakfast room was magnificent, as was the breakfast buffet. Best ever eggs cooked to order! The staff were extremely helpful with excellent restaurant suggestions. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Fantastic central location and gorgeously restored old building. The staff were all delightful and couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We had a large room with outdoor rooftop deck which was fabulous.

The hotel was simply perfect. Sympathetically renovated to an extremely high standard, this hotel left us wanting for nothing. Our room was clean , had high quality facilities and was very quiet at night. Breakfast was superb (and very healthy!) and eaten in the lovely ambient ‘breakfast hall’. The lovely lady who ran the serving of breakfast (I can’t remember her name….please forgive me), is an absolute credit to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and she made us feel very welcome. The owners, Konstantinos an Katerina, are extremely warm and welcoming people. We had a very late nigh-time arrival with our drop off point a distance away from the hotel and Katerina was good enough to meet us there and help us carry our luggage to the hotel. Superbly located and managed, we would not hesitate to book another stay at this lovely hotel. We loved our stay!

Next time I won’t book the ground floor. The building is very old (but gorgeous) and there was a cellar smell.

It was an exceptional location. Located in old town and just a few blocks from everything. We felt safe even walking back from dinner. And the hosts, mother and son were very kind and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and they even cooked eggs to order. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is located in the old town. It is very nicely set up. The remainings of the bulding were kept but restored in a modern/ new way. The hotel has a small patio which was very lovely. The staff is very nice and helpfull, the rooms are clean and it offers everything you need.
