Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was very small and with little natural lighting.
The hotel was very central- just mins away from the subway station and not too far from Akropole. The staff was very friendly and always prepared to help us accommodate our stay.

The rooms were very small.
The cleaning staff was very friendly and efficient. The reception clerk always had a smile on his face and was always ready to help with any issue regarding our accommodation. The hotel even had a luggage scale- which helped us be better prepared with the airport check-in.

The area isn’t the cleanest neighborhood , which may put some off, although air quality has improved. You could smell that somebody had smoked in the room.
Cheap and cheerful hotel in the centre of Athens. Very close to the metro with easy/short connections to all the main tourist attractions. Friendly and amenable hotel staff.

Being our first time in Athens I was sceptical when going to the hotel. At times it looked a bit unsafe, but it was not, we felt safe all the time.
The staff was really nice and the location is quite good giving what we paid for our stay.

.we received very bad bad treatment from one of hotel staff:PANUS or BANUS the hotel area was pretty scary with homeless people and drug addicts that's why we didn't leave the hotelwhen it got dark
we received very good treatment from two of hotel staff: GREGORY AND ANDRAUS at first we got old fashioned room,but Gregory and Andros changed a room for us.and really helped us with everything we asked for

Wifi wasn't working very well.
Easy to find the Hotel, just a few minutes from Omonia Metro Station. Location in a quiet lane. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, great recommondations. Room was fully equipped but a bit old-fashioned. What else would you expect for this price? Good price-quality-ratio. Perfect for a short stay in Athenes!

The area seems a bit dodgy at night when shops are closed. The housekeeper didn't change the towels everyday or didn't bring big ones. Very small toilet. Mattresses were too soft and some bed linen need a replacement.
Just a few minutes away from Omonia metro station and also not far from the city centre (you can easily reach it walking). Many cafes, restaurants and shops around. Staff polite and helpful. Good size room (triple with 3 single beds). Good value for money. Balcony available. Quiet at night.

We didn't like the cleanliness, there were hairs on our pillowcase and the bathroom was not very clean.
It was fine, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was in a bit scary neighborhood, not that safe at night at all. But the staff was amazing, and everything else was good.

Room is not clean at all, need take care between beds. Also it was really hard to have shower, water was everywhere Wifi was enough for youtube, but sometimes disconnected for several seconds Location - for 2 man was ok, but for alone traveler is not safe

Many homeless people were literally living in front of the hotel, which was scary for me when I come back at night. At my last day, they refused my request for a late check out ( at 2-3 Instead of 12), despite having the possibility, since they offered me to stay until 2-3 as I asked but they will charge me the full night

The streets behind were kind of dark and sketchy. Avoid walking there at night, especially alone.
Next to a beautiful church. Bit of walk to the Square, market, and Plaka neighbourhood but overall doable in fair weather and cooler climate. Room had clean and comfortable beds. The bathroom's foldable door had no latch for closing the door properly. No air vent or exhaust. There were some 'coffee shops' behind selling inexpensive food for breakfast.

Room was very warm, air con worked but not sufficiently to really cool the room. The area near hotel is full of people hanging about at night but I will add was no trouble
