we could not find anything that's not to like. maybe mosquitos at the restaurant terrace, but you must expect that since the location is near a lake. we will definitely come back.

Apart from lake kerkini (boat trip), there’s nothing else to do.

Room was big and comfortable. It had a lovely view of the lake. If you want to visit lake kerkini you, this is the hotel but you will definitely need a car. Very quiet and a bit isolated but if you want to relax for a few days it’s ok.

Door open and dog in room when we arrived. But staff dealt with it and compensated us with free drinks. Also, long way up to the rooms. Maybe a golf cart to transport people to and from restaurant?

The beds were too soft, and the shower experience was not very good (water pressure, wall fixtures for holding holding shower head). The breakfast buffet was certainly not memorable, same hor the dinner at the same place, only there I will remember how expensive it was! Lots of stairs and distributed buildings, I understand it as a necessity to optimise the view.

On the net it was said that the lake is populated with birds of several kinds, but I have not seen anything like that. Of course, this has nothing to do with the hotel.

It is a perfect hotel for a stop on the way to or from mainland Greece or the islands. Kind staff and good breakfast Very close to the border from Promachonas, it is possible to reach this border earlier than the cars will be crowded. The village where the hotel is located has about two restaurants with good food

Biggest disappointment and really a big minus is that you are not allowed in the pool until 11.30 am. Before then there are swimming lessons. Would be nice to mention this when booking. Furthermore, the food and drink was very expensive. 5 euros for a beer in a cardboard cup at the pool is way too much. The hotel itself is not cheap either, but it is one of the few in the area with a swimming pool.Conclusion is an overpriced hotel.

Hotel is okay Very basic furnishings. Bathroom also meets but no more than that. Breakfast buffet is well served. Pool crowded at weekends by local visitors. Restaurant with sufficient choice but expensive compared to others.The lady at the reception helped very nicely with booking a boat trip. There are no brochures in the hotel. We made the trip from Mandraki with Nikos (www.itravos.com). Can't imagine there is a better one. Fascinating explanation in English and nice trip.

I was a bit disappointed that the pool was not for hotel guests only and as a consequence was frequented by local teenagers. I understand this and it makes some sense. Would like to have known in advance.

The large school parties. when you pick an area to experience the wildlife you don’t expect 400 children running round. The other problem is that during the duration of the school trip the very beautiful terrace and coffee bar are basically out of use for staying guests.

Located on a hill in Lithotopos with lovely views and with some woodland. I phoned en route having made a late decision to overnight in Kerkini. The room was very clean and comfortable, generally well- appointed. Staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good

The building is a bit run-down and the bathroom needs a renovation. The mattress was not very comfortable.

Erodios Hotel is located close (walking distance) to the lake and every room has a view of it from the balcony. The room was comfortable and clean. There is an on-premise restaurant with excellent local food choices and fast service (although a bit expensive). Free parking on site, good wi-fi.
