Nice location on hill with partial sea view from our room. Breakfast was an option. We found for a few euros it was lovely,plenty of choice and would recommend. The swimming pool was fantastic plenty of chairs for lounging.

Very nice apartment, lots of room, great bar & swimming pool! Very good location within walking distance of the beach. Yannis & Nikos run a very good hotel and the place is maintained to a very high standard, you can see they take pride in their hotel! It is nice a quiet and not too busy!

The over all location, and staff were excellent. The young lady at the bar Yamma was fantastic very welcoming and polite. The cleaning staff were excellent our room was always spotless.

The WiFi in the rooms isn't brilliant, but I don't really use WiFi when away so it doesn't bother me 😊

Fabulous view from the balcony, good sized room with a good sized fridge, crockery and cutlery. It's located less than 10 minutes downhill walk to the beach which is great (the uphill walk back is a little harder!). There aren't loads of sunloungers but there are definitely enough, we managed to get afternoon or morning sunloungers when we wanted. The staff are all really friendly. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay in Folia Hotel apartments. Folia is in a beautiful location overlooking the sea with a big swimming pool area and loungers. They have a lovely dining area around the pool where you can have breakfast and lunch as well as cocktails at the bar in the evening. There is a large selection of different breakfast items available from the breakfast buffet which were delicious to enjoy with the view of the pool. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and ours had a balcony overlooking the sea. There is also very good Wi-Fi from the rooms and the hotel grounds. The owners of the hotel are really helpful and made the stay very enjoyable, helping us with travel recommendations and transfers to the airport.

Our room was on ground floor next to the cleaning cupboard and we were woken up every morning by the cleaners having a chat/grabbing their stuff at around 7am everyday. Our room didn’t have double glazing so we found that every noise from the outside was clearly audible.

We really liked the pool area and staff were very friendly. The view for breakfast was very pretty with sea views. Excluding the steepness of the hill, the property is in a good location close to the beach, bus station and lots of shops and restaurants Shower facilities after checkout were very nice and useful.

The pool area and number of sun beds is not really large enough for the number of rooms at the hotel, although most days quite a few people go out on day trips so was not a big issue.

The location was good with a short walk down to a bus stop and a number of restaurants. The breakfast had a great selection to start the day.

Amazing view. Staff very helpfull and very accurate. I could recomend this hotel to everyone. It has everything. Swimmingpool, view, every day clean rooms, excellent breakfast and beach closeby. Perfect.

Beautiful hotel. Location was perfect with an amazing view from our balcony. Easy to get to beach and into Chania by bus. Room was exceptionally clean and maintained every day, as was the pool area. Breakfast was everything you could need and was topped up constantly. Owners and staff very friendly, helpful and attentive. We wish we could have had longer there! Thank you for a fabulous stay 😊

Only little grumble would be the drinks were a tad expensive, compared to local bars & restaurants but I suppose you expect that from a hotel.

Only issue for me due to my restricted walking abilities was the location. It was up a couple of steep hills. For the able bodied ut would not be a problem at all, only a 5 min walk to the main strip where bars, shops and restaurants are

The apartment was spotless as was the bedding. Extremely comfortable. The Staff were welcoming, special shout out to Stefan and yianis they went above and beyond.

This was a dream stay as Folia Apartments had everything a female solo traveler like me needed. Private room away from the eye, fantastic dream views of the sea that I woke up to every day of my 4-day stay to enjoy my yoga and tea; a swimming pool that was really cool. Amazing family-run place, with Giannis answering and helping you out for locations nearby, a yummy breakfast with view of the clear sea that every nature lover would love. I couldn't ask for more! I wish I had added more days here. The bus station is a few minutes walk away and I also could rent a scooter to enjoy Chania on my own. Really loved every minute of it, would go back again!

Would have been nice to have an airer to hang wet clothes on. There was a little mould on the bathroom ceiling (though the room was very clean overall). Our kettle didn’t turn off automatically so we had to keep an eye on it!

Location was perfect - just a short walk to beach and many restaurants, but quiet and lovely views. Room was spacious and kept very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very tasty.

We loved our stay in Crete in the Hotel Folia. Property and rooms were exceptionally clean. The hotel is a family run business and all staff members were very kind and friendly. Location is great, everything you need is within walking distance: beautiful beach, shops and plenty of great restaurants. Breakfast was really good, it fuelled all our hikes on this beautiful island. If you fancy a lazy day, staying at the pool is a great option too (you can get some food and nice drinks from the pool bar).
