We loved the beautiful decor and the location. The view from our apt was stunning. So calming. The pool was lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean. A delicious breakfast was included and brought to our balcony each morning at a time suited to us.

Just the car parking really, was a bit sketchy with a poorly maintained road.

The location, the amazing view from the room, its lovely balcony, everyday we had a delicious breakfast with a surprising treat and also the kindness of the owners. Really excellent service.

Kanakis Apartments were even more beautiful than the photos suggested. The property was very tastefully furnished and is in a superb location to watch the sunset over the sea. The breakfast was superb as you’d expect from professional chefs. It is lovely that it accepts pets too.

Would recommend in a heartbeat! Amazing location in this beautiful and quiet village, perfect for exploring the north of the island and beyond. Gerasimos and Joanna were so welcoming and helpful with last minute changes as well as recommendations both locally and further afield! We loved that breakfast changed a little each day (always delicious), and the bespoke meal was to die for (not to be missed)! And that’s not even mentioning the accommodation and view…dreamy. We’ll definitely be back if we come to Kefalonia in the future, thanks so much for having us!

Our apartment was beautiful with a wonderful balcony. Our breakfast each morning was spectacular and also brought to the room and eaten on the balcony. The location was wonderful with fantastic views and sunsets. The staff were all brilliant and helpful with any issues. Highly recommended.

Absolutely nothing!

Very clean and comfortable apartment with a spectacular view of the sea. The apartment was very nicely decorated/furnished and was cleaned every day of our stay. Delicious and varied breakfast was served each morning on our amazing private balcony overlooking the gorgeous blue sea. We were extremely lucky that the owners, Gerasimos and Joanna, cooked dinner for us several times, again served on our balcony. They are professional chefs so food was absolutely amazing, made with all local ingredients. They really went the extra mile to make each meal a truly special experience. Can’t wait to return fingers crossed next year!

The bathroom is a bit dark and oldfashioned, but large and very clean.

Very friendly hosts, very nice welcome until our room was ready. Thank you again! Perfect location to explore Assos. We liked the views of the ocean and the sunset, the pool area and our large room. Breakfast on the balcony was a highlight.

Absolutely everything!! The breakfast was cooked fresh and brought to our room by the lovely hosts, and the rooms had the most beautiful view of the Ionian Sea. Truly one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!!

Tap water - so salty! Never experienced this before.

Amazing views, I cannot stress enough how stunning they were!!!! Absolutely lovely hosts with great recommendations for the entire island, food and wine. They are also professional chefs and cook your breakfast which they bring to your room every morning. We can't recommend it enough! It is located in a small picturesque village. You can walk to the local tavernas every evening but keep in mind there are only three. So you might get bored(depending on the length of your stay, note - we didn't but only stayed for 3 nights). There is a small grocery shop too which stocks all you could need ( food and drink wise). A car is recommended if you are staying for over 4-5 days. There is a local beach which we never went to during the day as you have stunning beaches available to you all around the island (this is a smallish island so you never drive for long before you find a stunning beach) if you rent a car. However, the local beach was very busy with a lot of children so it would be great if you are looking for a family holiday.
