Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Waterfront budget hotel with a one night breakfast and parking included stay was comfortable and good value. Located on the shore with the amazing view and good staff gave us good memories of the area.

FranceNothing. As modernization progresses this will be a nice modern hotel by the sea.
This is a basic seaside hotel that has been pleasantly modernized. It has a terrace jutting out, under a spreading plane tree, over the lake-like water of the Gulf of Corinth, as well as a second bar terrace beside the pool. It is within very easy reach of the Patras-Corinth motorway, and as such a good base for visiting the northern Pelopponese or cute Nafpaktos over the bridge (or via the ferry) at Rio. The beautiful bay at Akoli, with its waterside taverns, is nearby. Breakfast is simple, but included in a very affordable October rate of 55 euros for two, for a room with sea view and comfortable single beds.

United KingdomBreakfast not much variety and very basic. Would have been better if had some fruit and crosssaints/breakfast pastries. I don’t like cake for breakfast. Complete opposite to restaurant food at lunch and evening. Breakfast was only let down and stopped me from giving a 10 on feedback.
Great location good pool staff excellent. Great evening meal at Hotel restaurant.

United KingdomFound the tiles on the bathroom floor very slippery and could be dangerous. Shower tended to flood the bathroom floor and too few hooks for wet towels and clothes. Room a little cramped for 2 suitcases and air con could be more effective.
A quiet, basic hotel on the seafront with a great view. We enjoyed the balcony view of the mountains across the gulf. Friendly host and lifeguard who kept the pool open for us for an extra few minutes as we had just arrived. Pool long and deep for swimming.

HungaryBathrooms are little worn off for my taste, also the breakfast could have been a little better in quality (e.g. ham or cheese selection).
It is a little and friendly hotel in a very intimate little beach. Not that crowded fancy place, lovely instead. The hotel itself is likely an older one which would need a good refit - especially the bathrooms - but for the price I was satisfied. We overally loved the atmosphere and the balcony right on the coastline of the beach.

FranceThe only thing that wasn't so great was the shower cubicle. It was tiny.
The location, on the beach, is very nice. At this time, mid May, there was hardly anyone. So, it was very calm. The hotel is not luxurious, but definitely nice. The room was spacious, there was a good bed, and a small fridge. Nice balcony with sea view. I loved the surroundings of the hotel. Peaceful and beautiful. With the mountains in the background.

GermanyA perfect stay! The hotel is located directly on the coast of the corinthian gulf. A small seating area directly on the water with a beach adjacent to the hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff with comfortable rooms and bed. Sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down on a picturesque view, will remain a treasured memory. Will definitely visit again given the chance.
