A smallish hotel located on lovely small pebbled beach with well kept grounds ,good view of the bay and offering a friendly family atmosphere with an excellent range of restaurants nearby. We particulaly liked the Rainbow taverna.

The breakfast was very bad, basic and not able to have an espresso or a cappuccino (not even paying), in addition, mosquitoes were swimming in the jam jar. You could hear all teh sounds from other rooms, I woke up quite often as I could hear all the noise from other rooms.

The reception girl, Dimitra, was super nice and helpful. She helped booking a taxi and giving advice on the excursions. Location is perfect, close to everything and just one of the best in the area.

Beds were not comfortable even though we had double bed, matrice was really bad, size of the room is okay, bathroom is okay also. Staff is cleaning room every day so no issues there.

Room was okay but view was fantastic really like 20 meters from the sea so you can sit on terrace and go take a short swim in sea and come back. Breakfast was okay staff is really polite :)

There was a problem with the toilet. The receptionist immediately called the repairman who was not able to fix it (but at least made it worse) that day because the hotel did not have the right tool for the valve. We could not use the toilet properly for 24 hours. (We got a water bucket to use it since there was no water in the tank of the toilet.) The staff promised that the manager would come and at least talk to us, but it never happened. Paying more than 100 euros/night for a room that does not have a toilet is a rip off. No compensation was offered and the manager has not apologized either.

The location is picturesque since the hotel is on the beach. The breakfast is fine, however it was always the same. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar. There are plenty of shops and tavernas (e.g. Taverna Kastri which is highly recommended) nearby. The pool is fine, but sometimes crowded. The bus stop to the airport and Kos town is 200 meters from the hotel. The staff was really nice (except the manager) and they always tried their best to make our stay more convinient.

The room was a little small for 3 people, but it was useful. Bathroom toilet was small. There was no attendant after 10:00 in the evening.

The beach was very quiet and sea was gorgeous. Breakfast was adequate but some things ran out very quickly and were not replaced.

Mosquito nets at the balcony door would have been really great. The walls and doors are also quite thin. Some more fresh fruit at the breakfast would be nice. The beach segment of the hotel is rather stony.

Nice view from the balcony. Own pool (which we did not use though). Nice breakfast (although some watermelon would have been nice and actual fruit juices). AC. Cute hotel cat(s). Very friendly and forthcoming staff. When we had to leave one night earlier, this posed no problem and we were refunded that night. That's great!

-The hotel itself is a bit old and some facilities (e.g the pool area) need renovating.

-very good value for money, -breakfast was fine, just missing a fruit selection -lots of restaurants nearby and also a short drive to nearby stunning beaches, -the room was quite small but had a lovely balcony overlooking the sea.

The beach lounges that belonged to the hotel had a price (7 euros a day) that we weren't informed about.

Very dim lighting in bathroom so hard to put in contacts and shave. You have to sign onto a web site after connecting to wifi and drops after awhile requiring signing in again. Air conditioner did not work.

Wonderfull view in superior sea view room. Nice tiled balconey with table and chair semi private with clothes line with fabulous view of island and mountains. Modern bathroom with good fixtures, basket for products in shower and shelf space around basin. Adequeate space to put away hang and put away clothes. Small room Bed pushed up againts the wall and no second reading light. Desk with stool to work on laptop. Adequete electrical outlets. Good breakfast with 3 kinds of eggs. coffee decent, , spinach pastries although not fresh cut fruit. Friendly staff. No elevator but someone took luggage up stairs. Nice sized pool. Great mini-market a few steps away with really good Greek salads and sandwiches. I recommend the hotel in spite of my negative comments

We just loved everything!

Kordistos Hotel was just perfect. I went to Kos with my boyfriend and we decided to stay in Kefalos since we found more attractive beaches there. We went in May, which is low season, so the hotel was super empty, but the service was amazing. On the first night, we missed some batteries for the TV and also a blanket, and Johanna was super nice to us, providing us with everything that we needed, she was always available for us and we really appreciated it. The breakfast was also delicious, the views were amazing, and again, no words for the service. We really felt at home. On the last day, we had to to the checkout way before our flight, so Johanna let us take a shower in the hotel before the trip. Totally coming back!

Nothing much! The bathrooms could use an update and it would be nice to have some sort of decoration on the walls to brighten up the studios a bit.

The staff was just lovely and it really had the atmosphere of being a family-run place. The pillows were incredibly comfy and we really liked that the studio had a real double bed rather than two single beds pushed together, which is often the case. We really appreciated that they had drying racks for your wet bathing suits and towels. The breakfast was nice, especially considering that the cooking staff had the tough job of having to have enough variety for so few guests in the off-season. They were always offering to make more of this or that when something ran out, which is great to avoid food waste.

The walls are very thin, you can hear everything going on in the adjacent rooms, and the door mechanism is very loud so any time someone opens a door somewhere in the hotel you hear it. They had a dog tied up right under my window that barked regularly for extended periods of time. The shower was just a drain in the corner of the bathroom, so every time you shower you flood the whole bathroom and get the entire room wet (toilet, toilet paper, walls, door, etc), the door was swollen from being constantly wet so it didn't close properly. The wifi was absolutely TERRIBLE, i work while i travel and this made my life very difficult.

The room was very cramped. The double bed was in a corner, you could only get out of one side. No drawers, no where for the cases. One of the smallest rooms I have every stayed in. Our friends room was a great size .. so luck of the drawer. Wouldn’t put us off going again.. we would just clarify before confirming.

When showering it was impossible not to get a lot of water on the bathroom floor. The floor was always wet. The cleaning could have been more frequent and better. The television had only Greek channels (nothing in English!). Although we booked the superior bungalow, the room was rather small and there was no view. But for the price, we felt it was adequate.

The location at the beach was fantastic, beautiful view of Kastri Island. You could enjoy this wonderful view every morning when eating breakfast outside at the little café. The breakfast was very good, lots of choice. The beach itself was fine, although water shoes are to be recommended. The staff and family running the hotel were very friendly. WiFi worked well. The hotel is not far from the airport (about 15 minutes by taxi), but there was no problem with airplane noise. The beds were comfortable. The hotel is not expensive, good value for money. Within walking distance are a couple taverns, among them Taverna Kastri and Antonio's, which served good food.

Noisy road, stuff started moving/cleaning around noisily in the morning, semi clean, no shower curtain means the bathroom floor was pretty much flooded all the time

Everything was fine. Breakfast is good. The room is nice and clean. Staff is very friendly. Beach is only 30 meter.
