Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing really, apart from a rather firm mattress which was because we are both older and have aches and pains. Everything else was perfect, we absolutely adored it.
We loved the location, the sea view from the window, the proximity to the restaurants, bakery & shops. The owners were so lovely, they care about their visitors, the apartment had everything you need, a small kitchenette, all the utensils you need..They left us a bottle of wine and cake on our arrival, and brought cake again as we were there for 2 weeks. Such kind & lovely hosts, Mrs Linardos & her son Alex. We loved Assos, we loved Linardos Apartments, and such a beautiful , picturesque village, with lovely people. We'd return tomorrow if we could ❤️

GreeceNothing. Couldn't fault it.
Our 8 day stay in this property was magical. The accommodation was charming, clean and very comfortable. Our host and staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. It was such a special treat to stay here. The view is absolutely stunning, the beach very accessible and beautiful to swim in and the little village is delightful and has everything you need. Plus there is a fantastic walk up to the Venetian castle. Pretty perfect really!!!

United KingdomThe kitchen area was a little cramped for me but i only cooked breakfast so it was ok, there is no workspace to prepare food, but its better to eat out as the restaurants are so nice. Not much to do here in the evenings apart from that. There is the 3 cheeky monkeys at top of hill but never went there, i think its a bar/restaurant. Avoid costas supermarket near bakery as its very expensive and go to main village one in centre, its a bit cheaper
The amazing view, you could sit on your balcony all day and just enjoy your surroundings. Peace and quiet, comfortable bed, the lovely walk up to the castle, which you see from your balcony, the nice bathroom. Assos is a beautiful place to be. There is a great little bakery here with lots of choice and their coffee is good. This is a room with a tiny kitchen area in the corner, not really an "apartment" but it was lovely. Quiet and efficient AC. The lady owner was a delight to meet and she was so friendly and welcoming, with home made cake as a welcome gift, was delicious.

Our host was so welcoming and helpful upon arrival. She told us everything we needed to know. She even had a bottle of wine for us and left us some of her freshly baked cake. The accomodation was perfect for a family of 4 or 5 and the view from our window and balcony was so special. We will definitely return again. 🫶

IrelandA small piece of Heaven! Fantastic view from the balcony, spacious comfortable room with everything you need, welcoming and caring owner, who is proud of this place and does her best to make it as nice as possible. Three beaches at your doorstep, a nice hill walk to the historic Venetian tower surrounded by pine trees. 2 small shops, 3 restaurants, nice bakery and a cafe, beautifully landscaped and looked after gardens around.

CanadaThere was nothing to dislike.
Location & view can’t be beat! As sweet Mrs Linardos describes it, it’s ‘traditional’ Asos style apartment which made it perfect. Cozy but good for a couple. Apartment has individual water tank in bathroom, turn on in morning for 20 minutes and good for the day. Have breakfast, happy hour & evening on the balcony with the most beautiful view! As mentioned parking is in public lot at bottom of hill but you can stop in front to unload and load luggage. If you want a good walk go to the castle at top of hill (pedestrian only) the views are spectacular. Very friendly family here at Linardos, we’d stay again without hesitation.

Most wonderful staff, with the most incredible view, this well priced beautiful apartment made our trip. A few steps from a tiny secluded beach in this beautiful famous village Assos, you have everything at your disposal. Lovely restaurants bars and bakeries to choose from this apartment is a few moments from everything.

United KingdomI liked everything about the apartment. Genuinely couldn't find anything to complain about.
The apartment was lovely and clean and very comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning. It is a minute to the beach and restaurants. The host Lisa was very helpful and friendly as was her son Alex and the girl who cleaned the room every day with the sheets and towels changed every second day. There was a well stocked cupboard with all your tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc. I would definitely recommend hiring a car, otherwise there is very little to do once there. The taxi's are very expensive and buses are not easy to get. The food wasn't great in the restaurants and again very expensive. Definitely worth a day trip but not to stay for a week
