The ower is a very elegant lady with quiet tastefully laid out, surrounded by beautiful gardens. Just like the photos, clean and quiet, highly recommended.

The place is extremely pretty and unique. The staff, from the lady who greeted us when we came to the people working there in the morning, were really helpful and accommodating. Loved the room and the proximity to the beach. They even gave us a small gift because we said we were going there to celebrate our birthdays :)

Great place to stay! Good location, beautiful garden, comfy bed, great staff. Lovely breakfast. The host Maria was warm and welcoming. Everyone is super helpful and tells you everything you need to know. Ask the host for suggestions on how to get to the hotel as cars are not permitted in the city center.

Mykonos town is a pedestrian zone, and the hotel is located 50 meters from where the crowded part of the city starts. It is build around a garden, and coming home into this green oasis is really nice. Our room had a balcony, from which we could look into the green, but also see the rest of the city. For such a central location the hotel was remarkably quiet. The room and bathroom were clean, and even though everything was a bit basic it was perfectly adequate for our stay. I wanted to mention for future reference that taxi's cannot access the hotel, because it is located inside the pedestrian city center (part of its great location). From where taxis drop you off - at the top of the pedestrian street - you need to walk downwards for about 2-4 minutes: 2 minutes without luggage, 4 minutes with luggage. Just be aware of it. Same procedure for leaving by taxi: taxi picks you up at the top of the street so you have to walk with your luggage up a steep-ish alleyway for 3-4 minutes. This was only a tiny bit annoying at arrival and departure, but the great central location of the hotel made up for it by far, and during our stay we only walked around the pedestrian city center, perfectly accessible from Matina Hotel.

It was an excellent experience in Mykonos, and the accomodation contributed to it. It is located at the middle of Chora, but in a quiet area at the same time. Super clean and comfortable. Everything was really good. Suggestion: the shower could be tricky to use, so ask to the in charge people about its use.

There was no shower curtain in the bathtub which made it very difficult to have a stand-up shower without spraying water everywhere. There was no kettle or iron. It would be helpful to let guests know about the water taxi from the new port to the old port that costs only 2 EUR per person, and provide walking directions to the hotel from there. A taxi fare is ~25 EUR and still requires walking a short distance to the hotel.

Location was great and it offered good value for our money, relative to other options in Mykonos.

Nice lady at check in, nice garden. The room is pretty quite. Has a bed, a shower, a closet. Kettle can be borrowed for free at reception. The garden area is pretty cool and nice. Lot of chairs to sit on. The room was very clean.

The shower doesn't have one of the glass doors, so the bathroom gets a little wet. We later found out that all the other hotels we stayed in also didn't have shower doors, so it must be a local thing I guess.

Great location (only a short walk within the no car area). Giulia at the front desk was amazing - gave us very good tips on how to get around and things to do.

There was so much noise from nearby clubs and bars that we didn’t get to sleep until about 4am. Not the hotels fault, just a consequence of being in a party town.

We decided we wanted a hotel in the heart of Mykonos town. This hotel was easy to walk to when taxi dropped us off just at top of the hill. We could walk to shops, restaurants, Little Venice, Windmills and water. The staff were so friendly and offered excellent suggestions for dining. The property is older and the rooms are without frills. Our room had a nice balcony and overlooked the central courtyard/garden area. I would highly recommend if looking for an affordable hotel right in the heart of everything!
