Shower was a bit naff - doesn't take away from overall stay but maybe something to look at.

Staff were so friendly and welcoming - very helpful and offered advice on where to eat, where to go. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb - very busy and always replenishing food. Swimming pool was spotless and very relaxing. Very comfortable bed.

Bathroom shower leaks all over rest of floor. Showerhead is not positioned right and sprays outside shower curtain.

Loved this hotel, quiet, secluded, yet close to beach and convenient to transportation. Really lovely and excellent breakfast! Very relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely recommend.

From the time we arrived to the hotel we were made feel very welcome, we visited before in June 2023 for a couple of nights and enjoyed it so much we booked to return when we had more time. The staff were so helpful and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble, The room was perfect, airy, with air-conditioning, extremely comfortable bed, tea and coffee making facility too. we had a lovely private veranda , which was such a relaxing space . The bathroom was small, but perfectly adequate. Breakfast was excellent, a huge range of food and drinks to enjoy. The pool was perfect, spotless and very refreshing to swim in. The loungers around the pool were comfortable and there were plenty of umbrellas for shade. We loved our stay and would definitely look to come back again.

The hotel bar was a little disappointing in their drink making (I would stick with wine and beer). However, they did give me ice multiple times as a curtesy when I needed it.

The hotel staff was amazing. We arrived very early our first day and they offered us free breakfast that wasn't included the first day of our stay. JP (hotel front desk) gave us a map of the island and explained a lot of history of Santorini. He let us know about local food recommendations and bus routes. JP really made our experience there one of a kind. Breakfast had great authentic greek cruise and the pool was beautiful. Definitely a great location in Kamari and also in Santorini if you want to be a little more secluded from thousands of people.

Air conditioning in room 11 was noisy if left on for more than an hour so could do with upgrading. The pool bar prices were expensive (but I think it’s fair to say that is generally the same now for all of Santorini).

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room and hotel was always very clean and tidy, pool area is great and often very quiet. The hotel location is literally 5 min walk to the beach with the bars / restaurants etc. lovely view of the mountain and would recommend going both to Ancient Thira and also the little white church 2/3rds up the mountain (a 20min climb).

Lovely hotel, very comfortable and spotlessly clean, elegant decor, peaceful location, delicious breakfast. Pool is a decent size too. Staff extremely helpful and kind - gave great reccomendations for local restaurants and the nearby bakery which is fabulous for treats and picnic lunches.

Matina Hotel is a very nice place to spend an amazing time in Santorini. Staff very friendly and welcome, very clean and nice room, wonderful location in the heart of Kamari. I felt very confortable in this Hotel and we were really well treated by the staff.

Taking a shower was the only chore of our holiday. It was barely big enough to turn around in and I gave up trying to wash my feet! But I suppose taking a 10 minute struggle shower is worth putting up with that is totally outweighed by all the positives.

Perfect in almost every way! The staff were great and very helpful, the pool was amazing, spotlessly clean, great location. I’ve never felt more relaxed. The music by the pool is not to everyone’s taste but it does chill you when you lie back soaking up the sun.

Brilliant hotel! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome! Costas is brilliant and so welcoming he gave us recommendations on food and drinks and brought us to our rooms and he really stood out! Hotel is in a brilliant location, nice and quiet yet only minutes walk from beach, restaurants, pubs, shops. Whole hotel was super clean and very beautiful outside, breakfast was perfect and the pool area was great! Bar staff always very accommodating and very chatty. We wished we had stayed for longer! Jean Pierre is great, helped with making recommendations and assisting with transfers. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough, we will definitely stay again on our next trip!
