Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Great value for the price, worked great for 3 nights. Easy access to busstops, just across the Voula beach.

United Kingdom- the main road outside is very noisy - even though I was one of the only ones staying here at the time, bar a few other bookings, the hotel was generally quite loud. On my first night there was what sounded like trolleys clunking, sweeping noises, cleaning, moving stuff, all through the night until about 4am. I was on the first floor so the noise echoed loudly and kept me up. I could hear the other guests too, talking and flushing toilets
- rooms were clean and although quite basic, much more modern than the communal space and exterior, pleasantly surprised and good value for money - 10ish min walk to Glyfada, 10 min walk to swimming spot and (very expensive €7 beer!) bar restaurant on the sea, 3 min walk to tram and 25 min to Voula makes this a great location to experience everything - 14 min uber from Elliniko straight into quick 20 min metro into centre of Athens was even better

GermanyIts relative distance from the city center and its main touristic attractions might be an issue for some travellers. Also, our room faced an active road and, even though the windows were very effective against the noise, I imagine that might be an issue during the warmer months, when closing the windows is not so suitable.
The staff was lovely and very helpful. The location is well suited for our original plan: surfing and relaxing. It is very well connected with Athens' airport via bus, although it takes roughly 45min by public transport to reach the city center.

FinlandThe breakfast was very limited and sometimes there was not enough for everybody. The shower didn't have a door or curtain, so the whole bathroom got wet. In the end of October there were no dinner places close to the hotel.
Location is perfect for tennis-players. There is a tennis-club just across the street. Also the Voula-beach is close and late October the beach was not crowded. Our room was quiet and comfortable enough. All staff were very helpful! Air conditioning worked well.

IrelandVery dated decor, small room for the price paid. One set of towels for two guests, no extra pillows or bedcovers provided but would be accommodated on request - however I feel these should be standard. No proper restaurant or bar available...... perhaps that is because of the location but there was nothing substantial available in the locality either....a twenty minute walk to some shops/restaurants.
The excellent, helpful, pleasant and welcoming staff at reception. They answered all of our queries promptly and courteously and were more than helpful. So lovely to deal with. Thank you.

NetherlandsThe bathroom was extremely small. The shower experience was problematic as there was nothing to keep the water from running into the bathroom (door, curtain or properly elevated tiles) and even into the actual room/hallway. Showering got the toilet soaked and everything you might have laying around.
Nice rooms, modern bathroom, good working AC. Friendly staff, small private balconies.

SloveniaThe shower is a bit small and beds are too soft. But maybe thats only my problem. :) If you like soft mattress than you will enjoy it. If not, you will likely be like me waking up with a backache. But this it is managable for only few days. If staying for a week it would be difficult.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was really clean and tidy. Beautiful Voula sandy beach is just 3 min away by foot so that was perfect for our 4-year-old. All you need to do is cross the street and you are there.
