Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineThe most wonderful thing about traveling is when you feel like a pioneer and you can see something amazing on your way. Most often it can be fascinating views of the surrounding nature or architectural monuments, and sometimes it can be local residents who are no less amazing by nature. During our trip to Kefalonia we were lucky to meet such wonderful people - the hosts of Myrtia Apartments, where we stayed a few days in mid-September 2021. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a hospitable hostess named Anna who showed our cozy two-room apartment with a small terrace and a view of the green hills of Divarata. A homemade cake and several jars of jam were waiting for us on a dinner table. With great pleasure Anna told us about the most interesting sights on the island, noting them on a tourist map, and also recommended taverns, where, in her opinion, delicious food is cooked and you can try the local dishes. We liked the design of the apartment and various decorative elements that adorned it. It is worth noting the beautiful and well-maintained area around the owners’ house, where olive and pomegranate trees, various ornamental plants and flowers grow. Having breakfast on our terrace, we enjoyed the clean country air, views of the mountains and the melodious ringing of bells that came from the running goats and sheep. Before leaving Anna gave us as a souvenir a small painting with a view of Kefalonia, which now decorates our house and brings back memories of beautiful Kefalonia and its wonderful people. PolandWe spent one week at the end of the September at Myrtia Apartment. It was very cozy time and we miss it already. Localization is amazing!! Real greek village with sheeps and goats all around. You can really rest there. If you have a car you can easily get to the most important places in Kefalonia in less than hour and if you don't have it you can go on foot to the Myrtos Beach (takes around 20 minutes). One minute by walk you have really great tavernas and small supermarket. Apartment was clean and has everything we need, really good equipment. But what was the most wonderfull - hosts. Very warm and kind people, they made us to feel like home. When we arrived, at the kitchen were waiting for us delicious homemade jams and cake. They shere with us their greek homemade food and was really helpful when we had problems with boarding pass. We are very gratefull that we met them and for sure if we will be back at Kefalonia we will stay at Myrtia Apartment :)

Portugal-
We had a wonderful time at Myrtia Apartments! Anna is such a great host, always making sure we had a good experience. Location wise, it is very close to Myrtos Beach and perfect if you want to explore the northern part of the island. You can find restaurants nearby (we liked Alexandro's a lot) or cook at home. The apartment was very clean and quiet, we cannot recommend enough.

Romaniawe liked everything
We loved the apartment, we had everything we need to feel like home, but on holiday. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Our daughter was spoiled as she stayed at her grandparent's house. Ana brought us bio eggs from her friends, made us cakes and fruit gems, and gave us lemons. What a great lemonade turned out when we arrived home in Bucharest
