From the moment of booking this hotel it was superb. Had a few questions to ask, they always provided a prompt, detailed answer. The place itself is lovely, the staff are very welcoming and helpful, especially Apostolos who made sure we had everything we needed and helped us arrange anything we wanted to do. We arrived late, after room service hours but were still offered something to eat. I would recommend hiring a car, you get to explore the island fully €50 euros a day, you only need it for two days to visit most places. A take-away/cafe is a 5 minute walk called ilionos they were brilliant, they deliver to your room… we had pastries a few mornings from them and take away late one night. If you go to the shop the staff in there are lovely. Would definitely stay here again the location was perfect, 5 minute walk to the most beautiful restaurants and bars but quiet when you come back. Sun rise was breath taking. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

the location is a bit of far away from the town center. but we rented a car it is not a issue for us. it is on a hill and the view is very nice facing the sea.

We visited in the off season and the weather wasn’t cooperating. It’s the off season for a reason. However, the days we did tour it was wonderful having the island mostly to oneself. If you are happy with that solitude and don’t mind searching out the few open restaurants, then winter visiting may suit you. You will need a car but driving isn’t that bad and there’s parking in winter months.

Our room was a 1 bedroom apartment. Very clean and comfortable with big windows and bright inside. Nice balcony and amazing views. Very nice bathroom and shower, very comfortable beds. The location is good especially if you have a car as there is parking available and a car is advisable for the off season as there is almost no bus service available. US citizens will need an International drivers license…we didn’t have one 🫤 There is a nice little market/restaurant a 5 minute walk up to Imerovigli . Our location was a very short walk to Fira and same to Imerovigli. In fact it’s just across the street from the hiking trail to Oia. So you don’t have to walk along a busy road. The staff were extremely helpful and available when we needed help. Katia saved our vacation with a full tour of the island!

Everything was perfect. Location was great. Easy access to all attractions by car. Close to Fira downtown and close to grocery stores. The place itself had great view. The host Katia was super nice and helpful.

Location was easily accessible by bus from Fira/airport. The care-taker/receptionist Katia is super friendly and very sweet! She was helpful, a little late to meet us at reception for check-in :P But apart from that she was very helpful in giving suggestions, giving useful travel tips and organising a shuttle service!

Off season enjoyably quite....maybe too quite...everything thing else was Great!!

Nice location, amazing view of the sun rising! Good value, option of breakfast, coffee, orange juice,toast, meats... Pretty quite off season, lots of surrounding restaurants closed for season but a few markets open and one restaurant. Great staff...cleaning person arrived every morning with fresh towels, roll of tp and bottle of water!! Friendly dogs boo boo and lucky!!! Awesome shower!!

The only thing is that the hot water allowed you to take one shower for 6 to 7 min. and after that you should wait for about 20min to re-heat the water.

We had a wonderful time at Phaos Santorini Suites. We got at the hotel at 12:00 and our bedroom was ready for us, Katia was a wonderful host and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. The bedroom is beautiful, clean and organised, it has everything that we needed. The bed is very comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the hot tube was amazing. The view is breathtaking, and the location is play a part because it is central. You can take the bus to Fira, or you can walk for 20/25 minutes to get there. The bus that goes to Oia, also pass by the hotel, you just have to walk towards the hills for 3 minutes and you will see the bus stop. There is a pharmacy, restaurants and market close to the hotel, which is as also helpful. I highly recommend this hotel as the price/benefit for the stay is really affordable.

The hot tub was not terribly hot and it was weird to have windows between the bedrooms ~ no privacy :( Also, we could have used two bedside lamps instead of just the one we had for bedtime reading.

The location was good. In 5 minutes you can hit the edge of Fira, but another 10 to get into the heart of it.

The room was terrific and, after talking to other travelers, it seemed to be much larger than others. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after walking and taking in the sites. The staff were also really helpful and friendly.

location - well placed between Fira and Imerovigli, walking distance to both. Great place to start your hike to Oia as well. Room service also well organised and modern tablets used to make orders efficiently.
