Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsUnfortunately I have to be honest to mention that the rooms are a bit outdated. Bathroom is rather old, kitchen isn't well provided and poor. There's no curtain in front of the door what means the room is lighten up at early morning and the room wasn't cleaned during our one week stay.
After 5 years we came back to Real Palace. The staff is still very friendly and the place looks great.

Luxembourgvery good hotel at an affordable price, the staff was very helpful and attentive which made the stay even more pleasant, the elegant accommodation with everything you need for an excellent vacation, the very nice pool, the location relatively far from the beach but quiet and close to several typical restaurants and super markets, I definitely recommend it

Czech RepublicWe spent five nights with our daughter. Great satisfaction, kind and helpful staff. Clean everywhere and a very pleasant environment. We also used the pool and bar. The breakfasts were also very tasty. The only problem was the very high and hard pillows. Thank you and we will definitely be back.

BelgiumWiFi quality was dire. Good quality of network signal .... and no internet every few minutes. You have to use Your mobile data.
the hotel is located on the sidelines of the town, thanks to which there is peace and quiet. To the center about 10 minutes walk, to the beach about 20 minutes. There are quite a few good restaurants and shops within 10 minutes. The neighborhood is very quiet, you can walk around banana plantations and olive groves. Fairly budget hotel, very well kept. you can't fault anything. Value for money is very good the pool really does the job, If you are a beach fan go to Potamos Beach. Do not use malia beach due to the huge crowds

PolandNice place, real medium-size hotel with swimming pool (available even in April), restaurant, garden etc. Nice view of the sea, but the beach is not really close, long walk or car needed. Few hundred meters to the center of the village and main street with shops and restaurants. Easy parking on the meadow across the street. WiFi OK.

United KingdomThe taxi service recommended by the hotel is not the cheapest option.
So happy to be in a nice hotel with an excellent swimming pool and stunning gardens. The staff are friendly, and you might meet other guests in the bar area. This area has a table tennis table, a pool table, and screens showing sport events.

LithuaniaWe were here for the second time. As cozy and moderately priced it was it remained the same. The surroundings varies from olive trees&mountains to nice locals' houses. Even due to pandemic we would recommend to visit Real palace and find near located old Town with authentic tavernas (as Milos) or enjoy time near the pool wathcing the sunset. P. S. Flowers, trees in the hotel territory are very well supervised and even in the peak of heat in Greece you fell like in oasis.

AustraliaMost unusual...there was no soap of any sort in the bathroom of our room. The fridge didn't work, and a sign on the wall said you could pay for air-conditioning...As we only stayed one night, we decided we would just leave our balcony door open for a bit of air flow. Sadly, we couldn't because it was so very noisy until way after midnight with partying from the bar.area.
Beautifully maintained property with very friendly staff. They were very easy to communicate with via booking.com. before our visit as wellThere was a gorgeous pool and bar with lovely cocktails and many other drinks. We had a very enjoyable evening meal at the Real Palace as well. It was very affordable.

United KingdomStaff didn't seem to be that keen to help, wifi was poor (which was blamed on our computer and our iphone, although later one of the staff did say that everyone struggles), kitchenette was minimal (no scourer, washing up liquid, very limited cutlery, small stove etc), room small (described as an apartment which to me suggests bedroom and living room, but all we got was an en suite room with little space to spare for three people), no tea/coffee/soap, towels were fine but we weren't allowed to use for the on site swimming pool!
There was a nice pool and the facilities in the bar looked to be good although we didn't try them.
