It wasn’t very big room . Kitchen only have kettle, few glasses and plates and about two spoons and two forks. There was no sponge and washing liquid to wash it after. Owner of the restaurant wasn’t very nice. I am not sure if he is owner of Romantika rooms or not because i picked up keys from one of the guys who work in restaurant. He was not nice to his members few times infront of me. On my last day i wanted to use sunbed for 3 hours because i had to check out at 10.30 and my pick up time was bit later than that. I asked if they can give me better price because i’m only staying for 3 hours. Owner said no. Because i was staying in one of the Romantika rooms he was giving me 5 euro discount.Everyone was paying 20 who stayed in Romantika. I found it not fair that as a solo traveller i have to pay full price ( full day and for two sunbeds). Its ok price for two people which are staying all day.! Food in restaurant was tasty but not very big portions for the price they’ve been asking for

Very good location. You can walk to few different beaches along the coast. Bus stop not far from property. My room was so close to the beach. I just opened my door, walked through the restaurant and i was on the beach already. Room was clean. There was shower gel, body lotion , shampoo to use. And there was little safe in the wardrobe which is good.

One of the most affordable options you'll find near Platis Gialos beach - tucked behind Yialo Yialo restaurant, it's literally a couple steps from one of the islands best beaches. Yialo Yialo rents out sunbeds, where we plonked ourselves for the day. The room was clean and the staff were lovely. What more do you need?

The hotel was right next to a restaurant and so you could sometimes hear the loud bass of the music at night around 10pm. But we thought this was alright because the music didn't go on for long, and the volume is completely bearable (unless you are an extremely early sleeper, this shouldn't be a problem). What we thought was strange was that there is no front desk / concierge! We got lost on arrival, and later realised that the restaurant staff double up as hotel managers. For that reason it was difficult to get a hold of staff to request for e.g. extra towels, extra soap during our stay, but this also wasn't that much of a problem because there was nothing else we needed that badly. We also requested a large bed but this large bed is essentially two twin beds put together with a single bedsheet fitted on top - this made it really difficult to sleep in the middle of the bed because I often felt like I was going to fall in between the two beds. I hope they invest in actual large sized beds - would make this place perfect!

Location is perfect - we were given a room facing the beach which was just a stone's throw away. Also close to many restaurants, provision stores, and a bus stop that conveniently brings you into the Chora. Room is very clean, it had everything we needed, the shower was comfortable, and housekeeping happens everyday (though this sometimes disrupted our sleep in the morning, especially with the incessant ringing of the doorbell). Parking was also conveniently next to the hotel and it was free for hotel guests.

The rooms are very basic but they are comfortable and cleaned everyday should you wish. We had a sit down bath/shower situation which was a bind at times but again it was always clean. The beds are high quality and there are extra pillows and blankets tucked away in the wardrobe.

Brilliant location. In the centre of Platis Gialos Beach with comfortable loungers all with umbrellas. The sun-beds come at a price of either €10-€15, depending on how close to the sea you want to be. The restaurant, Yialo Yialo, that operates the rooms and the beach front couldn’t be nicer and the food and hospitality is the best on the beach. It was incredibly helpful that the rooms were almost directly on the beach so just a short lazy stroll from one bed to the next.

The shower was just a half-bath with a shower head attachment that you had to hold over yourself so not great. WiFi didn’t stretch to inside our room, only standing outside the door unfortunately.

Amazing location right on the beach and behind yialo yialo where you could rent sun beds for €15. Lovely friendly staff. Rooms were nice and big. Comfortable beds. Good air conditioning.
