Lovely apartment, lovely quiet street a few minutes from the port harbour attractions. Traditional furnishings with added mod cons. We had a treats tray that was topped up every day. Really enjoyed our stay.

Probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in! We had the top studio apartment, it was our own 'room with a view',and kept exceptionally clean. Everyone there incredibly helpful and friendly. We really loved it there,we were sorry to leave! Location's perfect,short walking distance to near enough everything you might need and want. The stairs are steep,as other reviews have mentioned, but take them slow and there's no problem, and anyway, seriously worth the climb! Just go,you won't regret it!

The location was perfect, in a quiet part of Chania with lovely cafes, bars and tavernas but close enough to the livelier parts. The apartment was just lovely. Very elegant, clean and comfortable with quality linen. Sonia was so helpful and friendly.

The apartment is on the corner of two streets, and the neighborhood can be a little noisy at times. With the windows closed, however, it is pretty quiet. The coffee maker could stand to be updated.

Lovely little ground floor studio in an excellent location in the historic old town. Historic charm plus a nice, newly updated bathroom, comfortable bed(s), good amount of storage and insulated windows. Silvia (the host) is so very helpful! We had ideas about day trips/excursions we wanted to do and she helped us think through the logistics from a local perspective, resulting in fun and successful outings. In the flat are maps showing things to do in Chania and recommended restaurants.

I think I would have enjoyed Chania wherever I stayed, but my Apartment at Sidle made my stay perfect! Silvia and Andreas were great hosts. Andreas met me and my taxi and carried my bags up to the third floor (be warned, very steep stairs). Worth the climb. The views from my balcony (and bed!) were sensational. Spotlessly clean. Very quiet. Great WiFi. Lots of space. Extremely secure and safe. Within walking distance to everything in beautiful Chania. Everything you need to cook for yourself, but why would you? Bars, eateries and shops abound just on Sidle’s doorstep.

The stairs were a little steep and the bed mattress a little hard for my wife but I think that is the nature of a traditional house in Crete. We had the full experience!

The building architecture is wonderful and the apartment is done nicely so that is comfortable but still retains its character. The location is perfect! Walking distance to everything, still very quiet! As for Sylvia, the owner, she couldn’t be nicer and more helpful. We will definitely go back one day and we strongly recommend it!

Sylvia was an amazing host and helped make our stay very special. The ground floor property was spacious for 2 people and the location is perfect - in the gorgeous heart of old town chania. Hopefully we will be back to stay again!
