PERFECTION - Three Nights at Yialos Hotel - this family run, laidback hotel has such a relaxing vibe, and whilst close to the Port, the beach and the town, it was difficult to leave, even for a day trip. Breakfast overlooking the pool added yet another layer. Built and furnished in the minimal aesthetic of Cycladic style with beautiful white washed walls. Pool and sunbeds made for long lazy days - the onsite and always open bar most welcome. Pure bliss. We were a group - taking seven "rooms" between us. Yialos is perfect for a large group, a couple looking to do their own thing, or even a solo traveller. Faultless.

Our room , number 5, was awful. Like being in a cave. Tiny. Too small for 2 people. No windows or outside light. Worse room in the place, but same charges as the adjacent rooms. If you are offered this room, ask for another. It’s a shame as everything else was great.

Beautiful property with an amazing pool area. So good to sit back and relax. The staff were always friendly and helpful.

This hotel is one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed in! Even though we came end of season and it was relatively quiet (great as the weather was amazing and it was like having our own private place!), we were made to feel as important as any guest. Perfect location (you can walk from the port) and with a real relaxed, traditional, family feel. The design of the entire place is rustic but boutique chic all at the same time. Cannot recommend this hotel enough- you won’t be disappointed! We will definitely return.

Slight smell in our room , coming from sink drain. We just closed the plug to avoid it.

Lovely and quiet, small enough to be intimate, large enough to have company shld you want it. Pool was fab, bar was even better. Close enough to everything you need inc. restaurants to walk and beach almost on your doorstep.

Beautiful property, staff where lovely. Really nice rooms & pool area was lovely. Location was at the bottom of the hill, close to port, and was away from the hustle of the town. Not necessarily a bad thing, if you wanted to avoid the crowds.

The rooms are not massive but comfortable.

The staff where super friendly and welcoming. The pool and bar are just perfect to relax at. It was busy but a nice busy with all the guests being chilled. You have the port and beach around the corner and a short walk up the steps to the town.

Economy Double was a little claustrophobic as it only had a tiny window. Apart from that it was comfortable

The whole hotel was excellent, The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The Pool was superb. Sunbeds were really comfortable and there were always plenty to choose from. The overall experience was really good and I would certainly reccomend.

Loved everything here! Our room was lovely, very clean, modern and comfy! Really relaxed feel to the whole place. Great location and easy to find from the Port. Sofia & Dimitris are amazing as well as all the other people who work there, so friendly and always greeting you with a smile. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back!

We liked everything! One small note would be in the superior studio rooms the steps up to the bedroom don’t have a handrail so you have to be very careful climbing up and down probably not good for kids. But honestly nothing bad about this place, would definitely recommend staying 😊

What’s not to like? From the get go Dimitris, his family and all the other staff make you feel right at home. (They also have the best restaurant recommendations.) After leaving I immediately wanted to come back and that’s not something that happens very often. Location is great, close to the port, the beach and the bus stop (a bus every 15 minutes to town and to the bigger beach). Also a shoutout to the cleaning lady who stopped us from getting on the wrong bus!
