Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was a bit confusing to get to the first time, as taxis can’t go directly to the building. The furniture (especially the bed) was a bit creaky, as a light sleeper it woke me up at night.
The location is great. The rooms are not the newest, but always clean. The stuff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is cheap and cheerful, for 7€ you get a decent spread of food.

Excellent location. Great staff. No issues whatsoever, enjoyable stay. No opinion for the paid breakfast (didn't go for it), but snack prices were reasonable (supermarket range).

United States of AmericaAlso, I didn't much like the policy of giving my key to the desk person every time I leave the hotel. Maybe it's not the best of neighborhoods, but it's certainly not the worst...and I don't really understand this policy. Also, there is no valuables safe in any of the rooms, evidently...so that's a minus. The lighting is nice and I had no trouble sleeping through the night. This may, again, differ during the high tourist season.
The hotel was...acceptable. The staff is nice, and professional. I requested a quiet room on a higher floor but the manager placed me on the first floor next to the elevator...which, if the hotel had been more populated, would have been a nightmare I'm sure. The bed was fairly comfy, but the shower stall was tiny...good luck if you drop the soap!

IrelandThe bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze, especially the shower, but I managed okay.
I chose the location for my last two nights in Athens as I wanted to explore the Pangrati/Mets area and also to be in walking distance of Syntagma for New Year's Eve. The room was quite small, but was fine for just one person and had everything I needed including AC/Heating. It also had a small balcony and my floor had access to a gigger balcony/patio area as well. The location was very close to the main area for restaurants and shops in Pangrati/Mets and to a number of good restaurants and cafes. It is also close to the Kallimarmaro stadium and Athens First Cemetery which I wanted to visit. it was also within walking distance of the Metro line and even the Acropolis which I visited on my last day. The hotel also has 24 hour reception which one doesn't often get in more budget accommodation. They were also very accommodating with holding my luggage for me so I could do some sightseeing before my flight.

AustraliaOur room had a damp feel that we couldn’t get rid of even after airing the room out but this may have just been the time of year we visited.
Good location close to plenty of restaurants and the metro station to get into central Athens. Rooms are small but have everything you need. The mini fridge is a good touch not always included with hotel rooms. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and the staff are all very friendly and helpful with recommendations.

Clean, welcoming hotel in a fabulous location. Great staff, Gregory was very helpful. Room was a good size and the shower had good water pressure. Huge range of cafes and tavernas within a short walk and approx half an hour walk to most of the sites.

United KingdomAroom safe might be a good addition. WiFi connection patchy at best. This is due to the concrete construction of the building. A WiFi extender on each floor would easily solve the issue and boost the router signal to all parts, without huge cost. The building is also sited below the levels of other blocks so outdoor 4/5g reception isn't good either. Breakfast was OK, but cafés in the vicinity may offer more for the same cost.
Super location, quiet but near transport and Acropolis. Room was compact but clean. Nice little balcony. Air con works well, as did the fridge. Beds comfortable.

MexicoThe internet was regular and some members of the staff were really nice but some others not that much. We stayed a week and the day of check-out we were called to leave the room by phone at 11:05, even though they had a sign in the room indicating the check-out was at 12. Also previously had sent an email with all the details and indicated 12 as the time to check-out. That was a pitty that after a complete week our last impression of the hotel was that.
The room was very clean and in good mainteinance, also it's very good according to quality-price
