Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaOnly got issued one room card. If needed another one, had to do a mobile or cell phone app, a bit inconvenient. Staff were reluctant to show the office and gym room, said have to pay extra money so that was disappointing. No swimming pool. Room size quite small No good view The balcony looked quite dirty
Have self laundry facilities right outside the hotel although I didn’t get to use Location is great, very closed to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Quite clean Free crackers, yummy

United KingdomWe paid extra to have a terrace access room. When we got there we were allowed a key so we had to ask a staff member to unlock and lock it every time we wanted to go out there. Which felt like a huge invasion of privacy. Also the decking had so many gaps in it was dangerous. The sofa in the room was stained and had burn marks. Also the “smart” part of the room with the Alexa and iPad was in Chinese. We eventually managed to get Netflix on the tv after having to ask for IT tech to do it for us.
Great location! walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars and the pier. 5 minute walk from MTR station. Clean room. Comfy bed and pillows. Great double shower!

ThailandWe have struggled about deposit 1 day before arriving the hotel. The condition of booking is pay at hotel and Hotel tried to pre authorize huge amount (over our total room charge) from my credit card which it was not gone through. Once we arrived hotel and asked staff why we got preauthorized in such a big amount, staff didn't answer the question.
We do like size and design of the room and facilities in the room. Stable hot and cold water is also another great point.

AustraliaThere should be more than one key card for a twin room. This is the first time we have experienced this after living in different hotels. We had issues with the slow charging speeds of their power points.
I really like how they had a built-in bidet in their toilet seat.

PhilippinesCarpets and couch in the room were not well maintained. Some stains were visible. Garden view is shared with other guests.
I like the location, it’s a walking distance to everything and very accessible. Their toilets are modern although there’s no bidet but their toilet seat is equipped with front and back water washer.

PhilippinesProjector in the room kept on breaking down so had to call for assistance several times but this wasn't a major issue.
Have been checking in this hotel since it was called Guangdong Hotel due to its location. Very convenient to eateries, shopping, convenience stores, supermarkets and MTR as well as bus stations. The refreshed look and many changes make it much more appealing and hip. Front desk staff were helpful although busy most of the time due to check-in/out of guests. The free mini-bar was a welcome plus.

PhilippinesI wish there was free coffee in our room. That would be superb.
The hotel is clean and smells great. Our room is very neat and quite spacious. There are two MTR stations near the hotel. There are a lot of places to eat within the vicinity. There's a self service ice cream maker at the lobby which I find cool. Ms. Ingrid was kind enough to let me try one since the machine can only be paid by Alipay or other online payment. There's a coffee bar at the lobby which opens as 3pm. I tried staying here 10 years ago and but transferred to another hotel instead due to its facilities. I'm glad the hotel have a hugh makeover.

United KingdomThe staff were not hospitable, they were rude and unpleasant. The only exception was Aaron who was nice. Gym facilities cost extra charges which is ridiculous in my opinion. The entrance is always blocked.
The hotel is beautiful, is in a great location, convenient rooms, quite, and clean.

ThailandThe 2nd night that I stayed the maid didn't provide the drinking waters and did not change the bedding sheets. At night I can heard the opening and closing doors of others' room, like crazily, every 5-10 mins between 10pm-1am. Maybe going for a smoke or something, I guess?
I like the location, the daily maid service depend from person-to-person. I like the maid who clean the room on 1st night, excellently clean. The location is good, surrounded by lots of restaurants and bars. You can find any nationality of food in this area (eg. indian, japanese, chinese, thai, italitan, etc) The block next to it seem to be shopping districts.
