Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomI didn't like the price, but I guess that's the going rate in Hongkong.
I was on a high floor and the view was lovely. I've never stayed in a room with a glass outside wall. So up on the 38th floor, it was a little scary looking down, especially with the bed right to the edge of this window wall. But it was an experience. The train station is within walking distance, so are the buses and trams. Plenty of shops and eating places around the area.

Location is at a great spot, especially when you visit and would like to explore hong kong. Subway and main areas are very close buy. There are good bars and food places, plus stores

South AfricaI found it inconvenient that a large hotel like this only had two elevators. Waiting times for an available lift could extend up to 15 minutes.
I enjoyed the proximity to shops, gay clubs, and the metro line at this well-located hotel. While the building is tall, the surrounding structures limit the views. The shower experience was pleasant.

PhilippinesThere is no bidet in the restroom, but it's okay. I think its the only thing that is missing. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Although we weren't informed that there is additional 10% upon arrival and check-in in the hotel. The price reflected on the booking.com is different from what we paid in the hotel.
I like how they have a room with 3 bedrooms and 3 restrooms. It's hard to find a hotel that you and your friends will stay in one room but with privacy.

SingaporeFirst night the TV didn't work. Took a while to figure that needed to switch to digital mode.
Location was near to MTR so transportation wise was good. Hotel provided free breakfast DIY style - simple bread and some pastry. Not fantastic but was alright if you are in a rush or just want something simple. Overall there was nothing exciting to shout about but a ok/clean place to stay at reasonable price. Took a short walk to the promenade nearby in the late afternoon, the views were great - so highly recommended.
