The view (of the street and another building) was so grim we just kept the curtains shut, but fair enough we weren't there for the view! They were a bit unclear on how the charges work (i.e. they pre-charged an extra 500HKD for "incidentals", and took two payments at random times rather than one charge) which isn't great when it's a special treat you saved up for. We chose not to get the breakfast because it seemed a bit overpriced for what you'd get; also, the coffee machine in the room didn't work, so we just had tea instead. Lastly, we're a gay couple, and the receptionist seemed to think we booked a king-size bed by mistake. 😂 When I said no, we wanted the king-size bed, he said "ah, I understand" which we thought was a little funny - not sure anyone would have said that to a straight couple!

This was our first five star hotel experience for a birthday treat, and it was really nice. This is a beautiful hotel with great facilities, including a gorgeous rooftop pool. The staff was uniformly attentive and kind - when we couldn't find a wheelchair accessible entrance the reception staff walked us all the way around to one, they were helpful in changing a dinner reservation time, and they delivered us an extra pillow to the room at nearly midnight! The bed was HUGE and amazingly comfortable, and we could Chromecast to the TV and watch some Star Trek on Netflix as we lounged in fluffy robes and slippers. On our second day, we had the buffet at The Food Galleria and it was really good; the desserts especially were fantastic. The chefs and waiters were all very helpful and eager to tell us about the food. We left absolutely groaningly full - I went back three times for more dessert! All in all, we had a great time and would definitely come back for a special occasion.

Room is a bit dated. There is an unpleasant smell when we entered the room. We were upgraded to city view room, however, there is no city view. The window is just facing the opposite building.

Outstanding staff and excellent location. Good value in otherwise expensive 5 star market in Kowloon. Excellent, responsive communication with front desk and concierge through WhatsApp motivated upon check in.

Great location right near Tsim Shau Sui and in the heart of the shopping districts and an easy walk to get to most places nearby. Great sized room that was very clean and comfortable with a nice restaurant for buffet breakfast and dinner. All round thumbs up!

pool was closed for nearly our entire stay for cleaning - would have been good if we had received notice of this prior, as it’s one of the main reasons we booked.

We had many problems with the check-in. The administration collapsed, and we needed to wait more than 40 minutes to register. We came back an hour after to effectively occupy the room and we were asked to make the queue again: 40 more minutes of wait. Reception reacted just when they realized we were members of the Langham club.

The overall experience with the hotel was good. However, it loses if compared with the Langham Shanghai Xintiandi...
