The property is older and could use a few updates. The mattress sagged in two spots, the bathroom sink required force to turn on and off and only the bath shower worked but not the faucet. Minor details, but it is a beach hotel and wear and tear to floor and surfaces is expected. Also, be aware- stairs and no elevator. There was a limited menu in the restaurant for vegetarians but plenty of options nearby. I felt some of the equipment rental prices were too high or were things which should be included for free.

The location is great for a family. You step right out of the hotel and to the beach. There is a large playground next to the hotel as well. The double bed is actually a king size which worked perfectly for my family. The robot waiter in the restaurant delights my son (and us too). Water refill stations on each floor. Refrigerator in the room. Heater and air conditioner functions in each room. Garden area.

Our room was on the third floor and there is no elevator. This is no problem for people in good health but my wife struggled a little bit due to a heart condition. That said, I'm sure they would have moved us to a lower floor if we had asked (which we did not). Just something to bear in mind for anyone with a disability.

It was a nice peaceful location, the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and in good order

Our room wasn’t soundproof at all. We could hear the neighbors children playing until late at night. Also the plumbery is outdated, the water running through the pipes is very noisy, any neighbor having a late shower or bath will wake you up.

The pool is nice. The proximity to the beach, the ferry, the outdoor playground behind the hotel, is convenient. The all you can eat bbq at the hotel is a good option too.

a bit of a walk if really need to get some actual food if you don't like the choices of their food. Now the walk-up of course so if you have luggage you will have a hard time. they do not provide water bottle, but they do have a refillable water area for everyone.

Place is not that bad, walking is alright, the reception is also okay. I like that they have a game console as well to play around if you're bored and some small activities. The beach front now is doing renovation but that doesn't mean you can't go. still good

The staff were much friendlier this time around. I guess maybe the manic COVID rush to Mui Wo has calmed down since international flights opened up 😅

hotel failed to respond to multiple calls and emails regarding a request to change the booking dates over several weeks. I was forced to book again and it was only luck I could find a friend to take the original room

haven’t been there for more than 5 years and its sad there wasn’t an upgrade or a fair maintenance. its such a lovely place that could be more loved and maintained. the TVs were not working. the water tap was either very hot or cold. there was a lot of noise from the visitors till 2am.

the walls and windows are really too thin that u can almost hear everything from the rooms next to u or even at the floor below yours. i know it is a family friendly hotel, but i dont know why, just everyone including kids wont go to sleep before 12am or before u complain them. im not a person like complaining but i just cant stand the screaming and jumping noise all around you in the midnight. for other things, it is fair when u dont expect too much. a bit expensive for the level of accomodation n services. will not go again.

the beach is just in front of the hotel. great location. well functioned air conditioner with basic equippments such as slippers, tooth brushes, hair dryer, electronic kettle, thats more than my expectation.

there are better places to eat around.

The room we were first assigned has a smell of cigarettes. it's the fault of selfish costumers. I report to the reception immediately and they gave me another room that is in a better condition. A reminder to future costumers - the hotel is very close to the beach, therefore please be expected the room may be a bit humid but it's well maintained.
