The stairs outside the accomadation was a bit intense just carrying the pram up and down (they were a bit steep) We didnt mind Me and mine husband just lifted the pram but if someone wasnt able to do that there is no lifts or other route There was good few stairs were the B&B was located

Location was perfect 5mins walk from the walls Host was amazing , so nice and helpful we travelled with are daughter who was only 6months she couludnt have done enugh for us Made everything so hassle free was a perfect B&B for a child She gave us the cot and a baby chair lovely and clean . Very spacious apartment with stunning views from every window. It was spotlessly clean, the a/c worked well and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is perfect, it's quiet and secluded but only a short walk down some steps to the Pile Gate entrance to the old city and the bus station/taxi rank. Plenty of places to grab breakfast close by. Ani was the perfect host, left us to it but on hand to help us whenever we needed it.

The property description could be clearer that there is no vehicular access. I found that 80 steps uphill carrying luggage was tough at age 71. Must get more excercise! Otherwise evrything was great

The owner made us feel very welcome and was very attentive to our needs. Ani is super lovely! We had a welcome gift of beverages on arrival and were offered extra beach towels. The property was stylish and exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds and efficient air conditioning, which was greatly needed. The view is amazing but expect a few stairs to reach the property and top floor location but we didn’t mind this at all . There are a few small supermarkets nearby and it’s an excellent base for exploring the old city. The buses are just at the bottom of the street to travel to places outside of the old town. A short walk to the cable cars and small beach made it very easy to start exploring. We would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Nothing - an amazing apartment and a super host

Villa Ani was an amazing apartment , so close to the old town at Pile gate. Ani was a fantastic host-very kind and friendly, arranged our airport transfers, met us at the taxi to bring us to the apartment. The views from the apartment are wow - waking up every morning to the blue skies and the view of the fort was incredible. On arrival Ani had a welcoming bottle of wine for us and juice for our daughters. The apartment is just like the photos - beautifully decorated, very comfortable and immaculate and the air conditioning is perfect for the heat. Ani even helped with the laundry and provided us with beach towels. The terrace was a joy to relax in and soak up the views. A super apartment with a wonderful host to experience the beauty of Dubrovnik. I highly recommend Villa Ani

Dishwasher was broken whilst we were there which was a little inconvenient. This wasn’t a big problem for us and I am sure our host would have had it fixed we’re it important to us.

The location is spectacular. Slightly elevated from the hubbub of the roads a city level and so it was quiet, with great views. But it is only 5 mins from the old city. It is very well decorated, spacious and all beds and chairs were really comfy. The hostess was very accommodating and responded to a few messages we sent really quickly.

There is nothing to dislike, really. We came back for our second stay in Villa Ani!

Location is perfect for exploring Dubrovnik and the areas around. Short walking distanse to Old Town, bus, taxi and boat. Which can take you to local island Lokrum or beaches near by. It is an amazing brick villa with a lovely garden. The rooms are of very good size, there are places to store your things and you can not miss all the nice details of the decorations and furnishing.

Location. Location. Location!! This apartment is in an ideal location with brilliant views over Pile Gate, the old town and Lovrijenac Fort, from the French windows or out on the south facing terrace you can enjoy a fantastic vista. A 2-3 minute walk takes you down to the entrance of the old town at Pile Gate, this same area is where the local bus service operates and many of the tour companies start from this spot, there are several small supermarkets within the same "square" so all in all a great location to base your stay in Dubrovnik. You can be swimming below the "Red Fort" within 5 minutes. Whilst being so close to the heart of the town the apartment is a tranquil, quiet & peaceful sanctuary. The terrace catches the sun all day and again allows for views down to the sea, there are trees and bushes for shade, read, drink or catch some rays. The main house is over 200 years old and exudes charm and an authentic style - the painted ceilings in the entrance hall, the terrazzo floor in the lobby and marble steps allow you to think back on the history of the house and who originally lived there. The apartment is very bright, airy (high ceilings with exposed beams) and is spotlessly clean, we have stayed in many apartments across Europe for over 25 years and this is by far the best. Decorated in a fantastical nautical theme with every need catered for this is definitely an apartment that you should not overlook, if it is available - book it!! During our stay in Dubrovnik we took a walk and looked at other places we nearly booked and were so glad we picked this one. Finally, our host, Ani. Ani is a perfect host, warm, friendly and any queries before we booked were answered very quickly. Ani also checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything such as towels, she arranged our airport taxis, met us on arrival & departure and had a lovely welcome gift as well. She also gave us very good suggestions on restaurants.

A few steps to get to the front door but Ani and her friend even offered to help with bags so it was not an issue.

Stunning property , excellent location right near the gates of the old town. Clean,spacious and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Our host Ani even welcomed us with cold drinks on arrival after travelling all day. Host Ani also helped us to organise airport and ferry transfers- this was so helpful.

we are not as fit as we once were, there are quite a few steps, but this is Dubrovnik!

the location was superb. just outside Pile gate. the view was lovely. the house was quiet. the facilities were good. the host was very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. the air conditioning was especially welcome, and it worked!!

Apartment not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. No kettle but we found a water jug suitable for boiling water. Towels provided a bit small would recommend guests take own.

Apartment was fabulous. Beds are comfortable, AC was a bonus and views are unforgettable. Ani provided additional towels etc when asked, the perfect host. Bathroom modern.

Great location few mins away from old town. home itself is beautifully renovated and is quite modern. very comfortable. the home also has a beautiful terrace to just sit and relax , look at old town and drink coffee !
