Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Uncomfortable mattresses on the sofa bed.
Excellent location. Nearby beach, bus stop, supermarket, restaurant. Pleasant accommodation in well-equipped air-conditioned apartments. The owner was nice and helpful.

All fantastic
The location was really good not in the old city but a short 10 -15 min bus ride from a bus stop about 250m from the apartment. Easy to get around either buy a ticket at the bus stop or on the bus or buy a Dubrovnik pass free bus rides.. plus entry to the walls and some attractions.. supermarket shop next door butcher shop too… very nice restaurant across the road or a short walk to the pedestrian area on the way to sunset beach which is very nice.. multiple restaurants here.. lovely walk around the peninsula watch the big Cruise ships leave port … restaurants here too.. very clean room. And plenty of it … balcony to sit on for breakfast.. view not so fab but nice anyway… couch and dining chairs to sit on bathroom spacious with washing machine (even provided the detergent) lots of towels even beach towels provided, water in the fridge and snacks on arrival… salt pepper oil etc in the kitchen with lots of plates and cooking equipment. Very comfortable bed plenty of good pillows great air conditioning and secure windows with black out blinds. Area felt safe and secure… room was very secure with 3 locked doors between you and the outside world. Eve very friendly and full of advice for your visit…

The property was small and it’s not easy to tell from the photos on the website which apartment you are booking.
The property was close to the many amenities Lapad has to offer; Sunset Beach and lots of bars snd restaurants.

Excellent location. Close to beach and restaurants. Local shop on doorstep and great restaurants across the road. Apartment was clean and tidy. Host was informative and advised on what to do. Easy communication

Wonderful host that welcomed me with a cold drink and even homemade cookies. Very helpful in telling me about the best beaches, walking tours, and also searched for the best bus lines for me to use. Appartement was super clean and tidy and provided anythink one could need.

Really Great location! Beach, grocery store, restaurants and cafes all just a short walk away. the bus stop is also very close and you can get into the old town really easily. Also had a beautiful view!! Loved sitting and watching the sunset over the mountains from the balcony.

There was nothing to dislike.
The property was in a quiet location a few minutes' walk from Lapad Bay, Sunset Beach and the promenade. It's only a short bus ride on the No 6 from Pile Gate to escape the hustle and bustle of the old town. Kitchenette was thoughtfully equipped with utensils, tea bags, salt & pepper, washing-up liquid etc. Close proximity to a small supermarket with friendly staff. Lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance.

A bit tricky to find the apartment at first

Had a great time at Apartments Eva, the location is amazing and the apartments are well equipped with everything you might need, including a washing machine! The beds are also super comfy!Totally recommend the experience and will definitely book again when I come back to Dubrovnik.

The apartment is awesome and cosy, it is 10 mins walk to the beach. Under the apartment there is a market and a very nice restaurant nearby. Host was super friendly, she gave us cold water, cake, and some travel tips when we arrived. We had a small problem with wifi and the owner immediately showed us and solved the problem. Overall great experience, we recommend it to everybody!

The studio space is a lot smaller than the one bedroom pictures, which is confusing since they are all shown in one listing. So make sure to double check which you're getting. It's also really close quarters with the owners of the apartment who share a balcony and the neighbors below who talk super loud as early as 7am. I wish I had a bit more privacy and quiet, but it was a great stay in any case.
The balcony is awesome and has a great view. The room was really clean and had all the amenities needed. The wi-fi was fast and reliable, which was great because I was working remotely. The space has lots of big windows and gets a ton of light with a beautiful view of sunset. Convenient doors in the studio space to close off the kitchen and bathroom from the bedroom.
