눉Traffic around is very bad due to small bridge which is only access from and to island Ciovo (where Bifora is located). Prepare yourself for long jams in late afternoon and evening (1,5 hour for 600 m in bad scenario). Hotel has only 4-5 actual parking places which are charged 100 HRK/day (13,5€/day). Although we booked parking before arrival, there were no available spots. We were relocated to another parking area from another private renter, about 100 m farther and promised that hotel will make sure to free one spot (the one that we booked before). After 7 days there were still no available spots and no feedback from hotel, so we parked our car in above mentioned parking and sometimes when it was not available, in a nearby ACI Marina public parking. Soon, we found a notice on our car that we should not park in a private area since we never asked for a parking place there, and that the spot is reserved for their guests. It was an unpleasant experience and a bit embarrassing. Owner of the private parking told us that when she checked she was informed by hotel staff that our car is not on the list of the hotel guests. Interesting thing is that couple of days earlier we were contacted by a hotel staff and were asked about our licence plate number, so it is still not clear how something like this could have happened. When we showed the notice to hotel, we received an apology and information that the parking will be secured for the rest of our stay, together with an invitation to a dinner on a hotel charge. After all of the mess, we rejected a dinner invitation and assistance regarding parking and took care for the parking by ourselves. Suggestion is that you should not book a parking, but instead rather stay on public ACI Marina parking which is charged 10€/day or even better there are other private parking available just nearby and are charged 20€ for the whole week.
눇Location of Bifora Heritage is not ideal but is very good. Close to the old city center and very accessible by foot. Exterior and interior of the hotel is outstanding and very nice. It is clearly visible that even small design details were taken care of. Hotel personnel were very polite and lovely.

눉Although breakfast was excellent for a night or two, we would suggest that the hotel adds slightly more variety to the menu.
눇The staff were incredibly welcoming, and in particular, Ivana took a real interest in our travels - a huge asset to the Bifora heritage hotel. The hotel itself cannot be faulted for anything, a modern yet traditional style made us feel embeded in the Croatian culture. If you are looking for a top-class place to stay, in the picturesque town of Trogir, then look no further. We will certainly return, next time we travel to Croatia from Scotland.

눇Very elegant, recently refubrished boutique hotel in Central Trogir. Hotel restaurant serves excellent local food - we tried several dishes and all where nicely presented and very tastefull. It was refreshing to get your breakfast served - not a buffet, typical for large commercial places.
