Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaNoise does carry very easily but overall the location was worth a little bit of noise.
Nice little apartment in the center of Zagreb. The host was always available and very kind. Great amenities (small kitchenette, dresser and closet space, washer) for longer stays. Wifi was good. Location is great for walking around the city.

GreeceEverything was fine!
The hostess is a friendly and positive person. Every day she brought me a different breakfast so that I would try different things. The location is perfect. Very close to the old center and next to the S- Bahn. There was a supermarket across the road. The building is somewhat old, but the room was nice for a single traveler.

United KingdomI absolutely loved this place and if I return to Zagreb, I would definetly book again! It's a short walk from the old town; you can also easily reach the train station and bus station with Tram n.6, which stops next to the building. The area around is nice and safe, with lots of shops and places to eat. The building is quiet and well kept. The room is quirky and stylish, decorated with an eclectic mix of vintage and modern furnitures. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable; there is also a kitchenette with sink, kettle and a small fridge. There is also a balcony, which was lovely in the evening. Wifi worked well. The lady who owns this place takes pride in looking after it, she was very friendly and she is really sweet. In the morning she brought me a very generous breakfast (she didn't have to, my booking didn't include breakfast!). She really takes good care of her guests.

ItalyThe lock of the second door is a bit tricky to open. Once you get used to it, it becomes easy and ok, but until then you will struggle a bit. The bathroom is a bit small, but ok for 1 person.
The house is right next to the tram stop, which is very convenient. There are bars and shops nearby and the main square in the center can be reached in 7-10 minutes on walking. The room is small, but cozy and equipped with everything (airco, hairdryer, fridge, and also a very small "kitchen" (no place to cook though)). Finally, the host is amazing. Opening the second door of the building can be tricky and she opened it for me at 5:40 to avoid that I could lose time for my taxi. She also arranges it for me. It is very nice.

SpainIn the shower, there is no shampoo or shower gel and the shower head is not installed. So, you need to hold it by one hand while you are washing your hair which makes it very difficult, specially if you have long hair like mine! It would be nice if they install the showerhead on the wall, so you have the option to remove it or not. Also, leave some shower material there.
The location is in the heart of the city and walking distance to all the attractions. The owner is the nicest person that I have ever met at any hotels that I have stayed! This lady waited on the street for my arrival and carried my suitcase up the stairs! She upgraded my room and gave a bigger room with two beds and a huge bathroom that was a size of a room itself! My room was like a one bedroom apartment with kitchenet and nice view of the city from the window. The host was so sweet and asked me what time I wanted to have breakfast and what I wanted to eat. The next day, she left a tray with coffee and 3 croissant (even though I had asked for only one) with jam and butter. She even gave me some fruit that she had bought from the market. Her English was not perfect but we managed to communicate :) She even called for a taxi that she knew for a cheaper price to take me to the airport. I kind of felt that I was visiting my aunt or a family because of her sweetness and generosity!!! Very lovely and thank you!! :)

United States of AmericaSome renovation work was going on when I was there. It is likely temporary.
Excellent location, which overlooks an outdoor market. (My room had this view. My room faced east. I can't sat what A westward looking room would look out on.) A walk of a few blocks brings the visitor to the primary square and the entryway to the stairs up the hill to the castle and historic area. The house is on tram line 6, which connects to the rail and bus stations. The tram ride can be had for 80 cents Euro paid in coin.

Slovakia- When booking I was not aware that the room was part of an apartment, however, it is pretty autonomous and doesn't feel like that - The little kitchen doesn't have a stove or portable little tabletop stove; there's basically just a kettle and fridge
- Perfect location right in the city centre - Beautiful old historical building and apartment - Nicely decorated - Extremely nice landlord - Complementary breakfast (even though I was leaving super early in the morning, the lady prepared a rich breakfast to go for me in the evening. This was very nice, I did not expect that at all) - Good quality wifi - I stayed there in January and it was not cold at all, no problem with the heating. - Everything was clean

HungaryThis is a small apartment, basically a big room with own bathroom and toilet and a small kitchen corner. The apartment is in the heart of the center of Zagreb, the location is perfect: public transport, shops, cafés, restaurants nearby. Little market in front of the house. The apartment is on the second floor, and it is part of a bigger apartment. The owner lives there, so check in and out is very convenient. The window is facing the inner courtyard so the room is quiet. The room and the bathroom is hyper clean and furnished in a very nice style. Very friendly, flexible and kind owner, great experience. Perfect for single travelers.
