Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Moskitos
The facilities are excellent. The location is also-very quiet, but the port of Šibenik is not far at all.

There was no cutting plate in the kitchen, no pan, terrible knives. There is no ledge or any flat space in the bathroom where you can put your things. The shower head holder was broken,. No hands free showering, so you can do it only with holding the shower in your hand. The shower sink was very slow.
Clean, friendly landlord, plenty of hot water, good water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed.

More attention to cleanliness, there was a very thick cobweb behind the TV.

Shower was hand held as the fixture on the wall was broken, WiFi was weak so had to rely on data. Could do with a few more knives, chopping board etc to make cooking in the evening easier.
Lovely little apartment just outside of Sibenik, you do need a car. Very clean and comfortable. When I had a problem with the induction hob the owners were quick to respond even though I figured it out by myself in the meantime! Great location for exploring Beautiful Sibenik, Krka and wider area.

The room is a bit sterile due to lack of decoration, it is missing charm.
You get a good spacious apartment for a small price. The kitchen equipment was good as well. There is also parking in front.

The property is located in a suburb, so we were very happy to have our own means of transportation. By car Sibenik can be easily reached, easy access to main roads/highway.
We were met by the very friendly hosts who waited for us even though we were late. They were ready to help out on any questions we had. The apartment was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with what we needed. Perfect parking for our car. The view from our terrace was great!

- high humidity - very basic equipment - location not so close to the center - the toilet might be better - flies and ants in the apartment

The wifi did not work at all in our room.
Getting fast at Sibenik from there by car, the place is quite, the parking is huge and close to the accomodation, the host is very friendly and the room, bathroom and kitchen were all clean. I recommend it.

There is no wifi available in the apartment at all. If you go outside of the apartment you can catch the wifi with low signal if you are lucky. There was no hand soap in the toilet (empty bottle). There was no hand towel in the kitchen (only an empty roll left on the holder). There were several broken things in the appartment (although this didn't affect our stay, it is not nice to see that when you come to the apartment). Note: The users would appreciate you more if you were present during the stay (at least once) on their arrival or when they left apartment.
The terrace is good. The beds were clean.

A longer distance from the beach than stated and can't be reached on foot (6km to the city beach Banj, which is at least 7 minutes by car).
Peaceful and quiet place, just perfect for taking a break from the noise and hustle and bustle. Very kind and helpful host and stuff, everything is very clean and tidy. A very pleasent terrace in the shade of plum tree and vine with a view of the vegetable garden.
