Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Jam at breakfast and old blankets on bed, I would reconmmend to add home made jam instead of current offer

Overall, felt very dated and in need of an upgrade. Holes in the towels. Two power sockets for the whole room, one of which was sparking so couldn't be used safely WiFi was a bit patchy
Location great, with a beach within steps. Nice breakfast. Terrace on balcony was lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly Bed was comfortable

Lot's of stuff. Firstly bed, pillows were terrible. Bed too hard, pillows too stiff. Indoor was really hot, but that's not the biggest problem since there is AC cooler inside. Walls are thin as a paper, all night we heard when someone above us was moving stuff, talking, shouting. You could easily hear everything what the neighbors were doing. When we were booking this site it was written that they accept credit cards for payment and when in the morning I wanted to check out, they gave me information - WE ONLY ACCEPT CASH!. And the problem with the Credit Card, according to receptionist, is that bank takes 2 - 3 proc from the payment. They do not care about customer, even know the whole Europe is switching from cash to card payments. During my business trip this was THE BADEST place to stay and I wouldn't recommend it to no one. And hope that no one will have the same experience with this facility.
The only good thing is the location, near sea.

very average surroundings of the guesthouse, non-draining shower, which was not repaired even after we asked, unbearable stench in the corridors from the kitchen, very limited and especially the same breakfast menu every day (if you don't like or can't eat eggs, you're out of luck...)

Amazing personnel (especially gospođa Josipa), great location, nice beach, great view from the room, parking loots always available. The place has a bit of a "Yugoslavian nostalgic feel" which we loved.

Pictures online didn’t feel accurate to the actual facilities. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and the furniture and facilities were quite dated and in need of repair or replacement. some things weren’t fully cleaned either. There is really minimal view of the water from there compared to what is shown from this apartment which sits in a separate building behind the main building. Surrounded by a lot of construction that seemed like it would not be done anytime soon. There was lots of rubbish just sitting outside all around in the adjacent lots. They also accepted card payments for food, but then required us to pay in cash for the room so it wiped out all of our cash for that day. it was frustrating and felt strange that they’d require this. It ended the stay with an upsetting feel. For the prices they are charging it feels like facilities should be much better. They were not in line with what we could get other places on our trip in Croatia value-wise.
The staff are very friendly and work hard to make sure you have a good stay. Breakfast was good. Also waterfront with an option to swim and sunbathe onsite. close to both main entry points for Paklenica NP and some great sites towards starigrad.

Lovely cosy hotel located in a quiet picturesque place just a few steps to the beach. It is managed by a family, we received a very warm welcome. We stayed for one night only on our way to Montenegro. We arrived in the evening and were offered a dinner which was delicious. I highly recommend fish plate. All other food and drinks were very good. Breakfast in the morning was good as well. The rooms were spacious and clean, the air conditioner worked well. This hotel is a great place to escape from crowded cities. I wish its owners years of prosperity and good luck on their business.
