This is my favorite place to stay close to Plitvice. This was not my first visit to this wonderful inn - in fact I have been staying there since 2013. It is the sweetest place to stay with the nicest family running it. Everything is well taken care of, clean and comfortable; breakfasts are amazing and the park is not far away. The family will give plenty of info about the park and they know what they are talking about.. I always stay two nights, because one is not enough. In the past dinner was offered but now this is no longer possible - however there is a restaurant across the street and other places near by, and you can bring food and eat it at the inn. Plus they have games for rainy days and also bocce ball for sunny ones. I honestly cannot consider staying anywhere else in the area, this is for sure. I feel sorry for those staying in the huge, park-run hotels full of bus tour people when they could have this experience of such a great family-run small inn experience. Stay here, you will not regret it.

The beds were very comfortable and the shower great pressure, so our stay was very relaxing. The hotel is in a quiet and scenic area, the building has a beautiful ski lodge charm about it, with pretty gardens. The breakfast was soooo good! Home cooked breads and such a variety of food to choose from. The staff were very friendly and helpful and just genuinely good people. The location is very near to the National Park. We really enjoyed our stay here, highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our brief stay here in a triple room in the annex. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was modern, air conditioning worked well, and everything was very clean. I noticed Milan outside adjusting dining room chairs at 20:00 and then the next morning he was already out and about by 6:30, definitely a hardworking family that cares very much about their business. Milan seemed sad that we were in a hurry to leave in the morning, which probably happens here often, since many people want to start at the parks when they open at 7:00 to avoid the intense crowds in summer. We were able to have breakfast at 6:45. There was a variety of locally made baked goods, but the vegetable omelet I had was maybe the best I have ever tasted! Sweet or savory, there was something for everyone. I only wish we had more time to relax here and fully enjoy the breakfast. Highly recommended.

Everything was great.

The room was well appointed and very comfortable. There was not a lot of space but we were expecting that from the description. The best part was the breakfast. My wife is coeliac(gluten allergy) and the owner baked gluten free goodies especially for her. For that matter she also bakes all the other goodies and there are many and they taste wonderful. The owners were very welcoming and helpful.

No down side.

We had a fantastic stay at the Plitvice Miric Inn. The location is in the countryside but minutes away from the entrances to the National Park and to restaurants and other recreation. The hosts are extremely welcoming and helpful in every way. The place is pretty, homey, clean, extremely comfortable with indoor and outdoor spaces to relax and feel inspired by nature. We had a beautiful room with a balcony that was extremely clean and had a beautiful bathroom with great amenities. We stayed two nights and would have had fun staying longer. The breakfast was exceptional and gave us delicious nutritious energy to go out and enjoy a day at Plitvice Lakes National Park. Even my husband, who prefers not to eat breakfast, found that it was worthwhile to enjoy the incredible spread of fruits, vegetables, cheeses (including locally made), eggs, cakes and breads so that he could have the energy for our day of hiking in the park. We would very happily go back to Plitvice Miric Inn if we are lucky enough to return to Croatia!

The linens! The construction of the property itself… very well done. the wood, marble, stone. The sweet lady who provided a picnic lunch for us for our hike. my husband’s side of the bed had a skylight window.. he could see the stars through. The hot shower, the sink, the cleanliness.

We had an excellent and wonderful stay at Plitvice Miric Inn. Our rooms were very spacious, modern and clean. Communication was excellent and they were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone visiting Plitvice National Park.
