The only things that were inconveniences were the lack of consistent hot water. I will say that Iva was so quick to respond, and we did happen to arrive while they had technicians to replace the hot water heater specifically - so this would not be a problem for anyone else I'm sure. We did find some very unpleasant, and gross trash left from previous guests, we only found it when we were inspecting the rooms upon our departure. People must be respectful and responsible when going anywhere, and the family running Villa Iva is wonderful, so please treat them and their home with the upmost respect. ***PLEASE UPDATE*** This was not an issue for us thanks to Iva's recommended location (8 min walk, or 1 min drive- delicious!) but due to renovations, they are unable to provide breakfast at this time. Not sure when they are able to provide this service again.

The family running this beautiful stay was absolutely stunning. They have four generations staying on this homestead, and they are beyond kind, accommodating, and easy to talk to with so much rich, personal history. I wish we had more time to converse with them. The location was perfect, you really feel completely immersed in the nature, and true local life in the hills. It is peaceful , quiet, traditional, and all around amazing So close to everything you want to experience in the area. If you love nature, and truly appreciate and want to experience authentic life in the hills if Croatia, this is for you.

Towels should be replaced. There is no Wifi or AC. Which is not a problem for us, (weather is cool at night) but it’s mentioned at booking so it should be clear when someone book this room

Our toddler loved to play and run around in the playground and the garden. Very convenient to visit the Plitvice lakes and the small town closeby has shops and restaurants. Bed is comfy, kitchen is ok. Good enough for a short stay.

old matrice with a hole in it, dust on the kitchen surfaces and also dust on the coffe table in the living room. The sheets were not ok, they were washed, but not ironed…. Also a pregnant bad smell in tje room. The couch in the living rooms is small, only 2 small kids fit..

The location is incredible and the property is wonderful. The road leading to the Villa is very well maintained and is only a few minutes drive away from the car park to the national park. Definitely will recommend this one to others. Host is extremely polite and waited up late for our arrival.

Nothing. Perfect stay, but you need to be driving

Out in rural Croatia with a real honest family feel. Wish we could have stayed longer. Room was large & bed comfy. Good advice from our hosts when we needed it but gave us space to do our own thing as well. Breakfast was fresh with lots of local produce. Not far from gate one into Plitvice Lakes Park.

Excellent acommodation when you want to explore Plitvice lakes. Studio was beautiful with the fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom - everything you need is provided.
