The decoration is cheap - strange taste … but taste is very personal so it might other customers. The presidential room is more a double room with the wall cut to merge the two rooms … it’s ok still

The location - The view is fantastic - The people and staff is helpful - we have been upgraded to the Presidential suite (large 2 bedrooms)

Rooms are on the small size, which may not matter for many people but I like to have a bit more room for the price. Staff was good, but not overly friendly and not overly responsive.

There was some confusion about the opening hours of the pool bar on our first day and while we did end up getting a drink we felt chastised and like we’d put the staff out. There was no signage in the area and the information we were provided at check in was that it was open when it was apparently closed. On another occasion we asked about a food menu for the pool and the waiter was unable to show us one or tell us what was available. It seemed like we should just know and was very awkward. Neither of these issues were particularly bad and we still had an amazing stay, but communication and service at the pool could’ve been better.

The location could not be better, the rooms are spacious and luxurious and we had the most amazing view over the port. It was very comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast was incredible too, definitely the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced. Reception staff were friendly.

My two pieces of feedback are that it would have been nice to know in advance that there was luggage pickup from the ferry port so we didn't have to drag our heavy luggage to the hotel. We found out thereafter and took advantage of this service on the way back to the seaport. Also, the hotel suggested and booked a dinner for us at a restaurant which was supposed to be excellent, but both the food and service was terrible, so we paid, left our food on the table and returned to the hotel. After speaking to guest services and sharing our experience at the restaurant, we went on to have dinner at the hotel's sister restaurant down the pier which was very good. Based on the experience we had, I expected the hotel to discount or comp the second dinner at their partner restaurant, but they didn't offer which was disappointing. Aside from this, the experience at the hotel was great!

The Palace Elisabeth is a beautiful hotel with excellent customer service. In fact, probably the best service I have experienced at a hotel. The staff is very positive, friendly and helpful. They go the extra mile to make sure guests feel comfortable and taken care of. The hotel's location on the seaport is convenient to the center of town, restaurants, cafés and bars. Our hotel room was beautiful and had great views of the seaport. Breakfast was absolutely delicious - I highly recommend the eggs Benedict with ham or salmon. The truffled eggs were also very good!

Gym was inadequate. Rooms were on the small side. Sauna opening hours not long enough.

Comfortable beds. Location was excellent. Views from balcony rooms were fantastic. Hotel had a luxury feel. Breakfast was very good. Pool area was relaxing. Concierge was friendly and knowledgeable.

Only that we wish we could have stayed longer!

We felt very welcomed upon arrival! Staff met us on the pier to bring our luggage to the hotel (we arrived by catamaran ferry). Then when we got into the hotel (a short walk from the pier) the staff there acted excited to see us! they met us with chilled towels and welcome Blinis. Our rooms were very comfortable and we had great views of the harbor. The concierge helped arrange a tour for us on very short notice, and provided additional recommendations for our next sop on our trip. Breakfast was lovely. The wait staff were super attentive and friendly and the food was excellent. The setting was on a veranda with generous shade and very comfortable seats. I look forward to visiting this hotel again!

Great experience from the first to the last step in this hotel. Very warm welcome with cold towels and a glass of champaigne. A special surprise was an upgrade to the penthouse suite, which was really stunning, with the best view in town. Very elegant room design with the seamless service. Every day during the turn down service we got different amenities: chocolate, cognac, traditional cookies. Luxury Guerlain bathroom amenities were replaced every day. Beautiful a la cart breakfast: matcha latte and avocado toast were my choice, that is not so easy to find in other, even 5 stars hotels in Croatia. Great spa area. Free sunbeds on the most exclusive beach in Hvar, 10 minutes walk from the hotel.
