Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Thank you very much Tony for the warm welcome and attentive attitude. Very clean, comfortable rooms, convenient location, delicious and varied breakfast. The photos are completely true. It's nice when people treat their work with dedication and responsibility. We will return with great pleasure to this beautiful country and will definitely stay at Villa Toni.

The complimentary breakfast was beyond my expectations. Such a wonderful choice of food and we felt like family. Everyone was so accommodating and the nicest people we experienced in Croatia. Will stay here again.

That we couldn't stay longer!
Great location, tucked away in quiet street a stone's throw from the Palace. Clean, stylish accommodation. Comfy beds, powerful aircon. Ace shower! Host was super lovely, warm and attentive and professional - an absolute delight. Breakfast was plentiful and very pleasant. Would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing welcome, Tonci was so nice and extremely helpful in suggesting places to visit in Split and elsewhere in Dalmatia. Quiet and clean apartment a couple short minutes from the center. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent experience from start to finish.

Stairs to the apartment. The initial pillows were not for sleep but thick-like direction - Tony addressed it right away. It would be helpful to have instructions on TV use. The Fulton coach in the living area is plain and simple tired, extremely uncomfortable, and not easy to close.
The manager Tony was exceptional. He addressed any concerns and was exceptionally helpful in giving us directions, and recommended places to eat, and places to see.

Everything was great. Starting with Toni, our host. Super helpful with everything we needed and ideas for excursions. Location is on a quiet street just 5 minutes from old town. Super convenient and very nice. Would recommend to everyone.

There are steps, so it is not wheelchair accessible. Also a handrail at the steps of the entrance would really help on the rare wet days when the steps could be a bit slippery.
Everything :) The apartment is as advertised, the location is perfect, just 5 mins walk to the old town, two supermarkets, a bakery and a few good restaurants nearby, beach is 10 - 15 min walk. Breakfasts is superb, with a very good continental breakfast plus eggs cooked to order. Also on the days when we had very early morning trips, packed breakfasts were prepared for us to pick up at 6:30am. A special thanks to Tonci, our host during out stay, who went above and beyond what we could expect. Really friendly, lots of good advise, always time for a chat. Would definitely stay there again when we come back to Split.

Bed was extremely firm for our liking
Location was fantastic near the board walk and old town. Host was fantastic very friendly and informative. Provided a take away breakfast each morning as we headed off on early day tours.

The apartment was quite light in the morning but if you bring eye masks not a problem. Blinds on windows perhaps?
lovely clean and comfortable apartment and so close to ferry port and airport bus drop off. We arrived pretty late but that wasn’t a problem at all and such an easy check in with a short video of Split for the kids to watch in reception. Helpful advice about what to see in Split and how to get to places. We were even shown across the road to a restaurant and a table was sorted out very quickly for an 11pm pizza! Great breakfast spread in the morning too :)

Great owner, friendly and very helpful. Spacious, modern and clean room very close to palace and port. Quiet despite being so central. Owner prepared a take-away breakfast for our early departure.

Little details that could make it even better: - Having shower gel and liquid soap in the bathroom - Having salt, pepper and oil in the kitchen (otherwise, one throws away most of it when you leave)
We absolutely loved staying here (2 weeks) and highly recommend it for people who are looking for a home-like, warm stay What we loved: - Easy: Tonći! He is such a great host! always with a smile and a lot of suggestions. He loves his job, and he enjoys a lot to help people have the best experiences for their taste (ours were adventures). I wish there were more people like him everywhere I travel - Breakfast: ohalala! You have your own private buffet of hams, cheese, jams, fruits, eggs, cereals and whatever else you want. It is great! - Clean and comfortable apartment: there is daily cleaning, air conditioning, a kitchen, a fridge, a shared space outside and a place to dry clothes - Location: in the Center of Split. You can get to so many places from here! We stayed for two weeks here and visit a different place every day with boats and buses (sometimes Uber)

Excellent stay, really friendly staff and nothing too much bother. Everything exactly as described and lots of space. Excellent breakfast, they even made us a packed breakfast when we had an early start. Great location for the town and port/bus transport links.

the beds are a bit hard for us as well the pillows can be thicker, but I understand that that is a personal choice/ and liking. but the rest was super!
excellent location. everything walking distance. small but cozy and everything was available even a large fridge and small kitchen net!!
