Nothing to dislike

Everything was perfect, Nora , the owner is just so friendly and helpful, she speaks perfect English too Rooms are very spacious and spotlessly clean, with good showers The guest house is situated in a quiet neighborhood with splendid views, and you can get a small train or bus to the Bukki National park which is just beautiful, we didn't go to the tourist part but other walking routes which were easily followed There is a large Spar supermarket near the station and a smaller one in town , there is a well equipped kitchen where you can cook your own meals if you may wish , just everything you need, well recommended,, thank you Nora for making us welcome into your guest house and for everything Well recommended for your stay in Eger WiFi excellent

Only minor things.

Located not far from the city center (approx. 15 min on foot), but in a quiet street. The room was large enough. The lady of the house is very nice, willing and ready to help. She proposed a program for me for two weeks, but I was there only for three days. Maybe I'll continue next time :) On top of everything else, I learned a few new Hungarian words...

The house is amazing and have really beautiful view, very big room and comfy. The lady was amazing and always smiling ☺️ loved everything specially the cats and mr. Grumpy the cat 🐈‍⬛ I would recommend it 1000/100, the location is perfect 🤩

This is one of the best places I’ve stayed in on the European trip. Super friendly owner. Large apartment style room. Huge kitchen. Beautiful balcony and Bach garden. Strong Wi-Fi. Perfect

The property is at the top of a fairly steep hill so may not be suitable for those with low fitness level of mobility issues

Huge room on the top floor of the property. Would easily sleep 4. The host (Nora) and her family are lovely. They could not be more helpful. The house was decorated in a traditional Northern Hungarian style and was beautiful. Large gardens to the read of the house are easily accessible and well kept. Extremely well equipped kitchen. As a share space it is huge and easily accommodates all guest. Location is a 5 - 10 minute walk or 2 mins in the car.

The hosts are just incredible, very helpful and generous! The best hosts we have ever had (and we travel a lot) We strongly recommend this place to everybody. Maja & Dorota from Poland PS. The place is very tidy, near to the city center, with a nice garden, terrace and lovely and friendly cats.

Everything was great.

The lady of the house was very helpful and kind, a wonderful woman with a warm heart that will brighten your day. If you want, she will advise you on everything interesting in Eger and what to visit. The rooms are very beautiful, each one is decorated in a different season (we had beautiful autumn), you can feel the peace and quiet from the rooms. The room was spacious enough and nicely decorated. There is also a large kitchen with all the necessary equipment. The location is a little out of the centre but nothing major (5 to 10 minutes walk depending on your pace). When we are in Eger again, we will definitely pick this accommodation again.

Good location, quiet, but at the same time close to the city center. our room was clean, nicely decorated, as well as the rest of the house. The landlady (english speaking) was very pleasant and helpful, much devoted to her profession. Quite a pleasant stay for us.

A charming guest house, located on a hill close to the city centre. Very clean and cozy. The host made my stay exceptional- helped me plan my trip, answered all my questions and served great strong coffee. Definitely coming back

The bed made a lot of noise, and if you’re staying with morning people conversation can be heard quite loudly from the kitchen downstairs and makes it hard to sleep in, but all this is nothing truly bad.

The owner was very nice and super helpful. Made our stay very pleasant! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was also pretty good.

The hosts are wonderful, friendly, knows the area and we received lots of greate information about places to visit etc, they offered a wonderful breakfast that we enjoyed every morning 😍 I always come back to Eger and now I found my staying. Bonus for the parking spot. Very close to the city, castle and the thermal bath. AC equipped so we slept like rocks despite the warm weather outside.

We realised when we arrived that this is a family home rather than a hotel or guesthouse. The owners had gone away, leaving their son in charge. He could not take a card payment, so we had to get extra cash out to pay. The room wasfairly basic, but with no fridge, desk or kettle.

The location was OK - 10 minutes walk from the centre
