The gym is in a really bad condition. Everything is broken and useless. Equipments look fancy but they are completely useless unfortunately. They should just buy 2 benches and a selection of dumbbells from 1kg to 30kg. It would be more than enough.

1.The receptionist, kind of arrogant and not so patience a blond guy, other receptionist were OK. 2. The elevators were slow 3. The apartment could have been more clean, the window for the view was not clean, there was a gray hair in the sheet.

I cannot really complain anything. Maybe there are 2 things to mention: a.) We did not use air condition as we have had our accommodation in March, but for some reason the room was always quite warm in the morning - while outside there was not even 10 Celsius. b.) one of the elevator was not working (out of 4) and when there are lot of people in the hotel 4 elevators are not enough during dinner time. And that means that 3 were even worse... these 2 things can maybe bit improved but the hotel is really great. I would recommend it.

The hotel is renovated and was equipped well. It is quite close to the lake Balaton and to the small city center. You can park your car in dedicated parking place within the hotel area (for extra charge) or close to the hotel on the road. The bed was really comfortable. We have enjoyed the wellness area and especially the Sauna Seance (event). There are 4 different types of saunas and one steam bath. Pools are relatively big but unfortunately you do not have a chance to swim. Food is fantastic. There were always more options and the chef is cooking really well (we had breakfast and dinner).

The dinner offer was rather poor, drinks were charged extra. Most people use sauna in swim suit. Some employees speak very little English (e. g. in dinner restaurant on -1 level), but as I started learning Hungarian it was a good advantage to practice it :)

Fantastic, modern hotel, our room on the 11th floor offered amazing view to Lake Balaton. Saunas are nice (there are 5 different), the Finnish sauna was really hot. The breakfast was very tasty and with great selection of products. The masseurs in SPA were really nice and my skin was so soft and smooth after the treatment! The neighbourhood is also very quiet in February and you can really find your peace in Balatonalmádi! During our stay there were almost only Hungarian guests which I see rather as advantage :)

Great modern looking hotel with excellent SPA just next to the Balaton lake coast. The location is also great for one day field trips to sightseeing attractions nearby. The staff is friendly and the Hotel has a lot to offer. The sky bar is also a must visit in the Hotel.

The elevator capacity/system is bad, it takes forever to be able to take an elevator and get from one floor to another which is not good for a 13 floor building (potentially with suitcases). However it is the only negative we can say.

The skybar is beautiful and the cocktails are delicious! Breakfast and dinner have a nice variety and are very good as well! Live music in the hall after dinner was also nice.

The following are just comments on what could be improved - we really liked our stay and would come again for sure! - We only stayed for two nights and did not ask for the room to be cleaned, however the cleaning staff took two of our towels away (there were not thrown on the floor) and did not replace them, so we had to go to the reception to ask for new ones. - As mentioned in other reviews, sometimes you need to wait a long time for the elevator. Once we took it from the 8th floor down to the ground floor and were "stopped" mid-journey by staff who wanted to take it as well but did not fit in anymore - the young employees just rolled their eyes and sighed - we understand they are simply trying to work but it was a bit unprofessional ;) - The beds were too soft for my taste but other family members accommodated in other rooms liked them. - If I'm being really picky, I would welcome fresh fruit juices for breakfast and dinner, and not only those "artificial" tasting ones from the machines :) - The price of the room was surprisingly high for what I'd expect in Hungary, which just makes me wonder how many locals could afford this hotel, but it is justified by the high quality of services and amenities and by the high tourist season.

Pretty much everything was amazing. - We were all positively surprised by the breakfast and dinner options. Great buffet tables. We simply do not understand the negative reviews about the food at this hotel - there was so much to choose from that you have to be really picky not to like anything :D - The private beach for hotel guests is a great touch, the spa/wellness (sauna, pool) was very nice, too. Extra towels and bathrobes in the closet. - Lots of parking space and easy to access. - Most of the staff seemed friendly, kind and professional. - Nice views from the hotel room - we had family members accommodated on both sides of the hotel (8th floor) and everyone had (at least a partial) lake view, so if you want to go cheaper, skip the extra for a "lake view room" ;)

The buffet for breakfast and dinner was great! Gluten-free food was always available and labelled. The room was really nice. Further, the hotel offers a great indoor pool with multiple aqua massage functions, a private beach at the Lake Balaton and various saunas.

Although the beach was enjoyable, it would be great if priority for sunbeds could be given to hotel guests rather than non-guests paying an entrance fee.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at the Hunguest Bál Resort. The breakfast was a definite highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The staff were friendly and polite, always ready to assist. If you are a light sleeper, then this is the perfect place for you. Despite the room next to ours accommodating a dog, we were pleasantly surprised by the quiet atmosphere of our own room. The beds were cozy and comfortable, although the pillows were slightly oversized for my preference. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it for a tranquil getaway.

I would have loved the gym to be much better equipped. It's beautiful but could be more functional. Also, being able to access gym and pool only between 8 AM and 8 PM is a limitation, it would be great if one could access those before breakfast and until 10 PM for example. Also, It would be great to have some more separation, at least visual from the somewhat busy street when sitting in the garden of the hotel.

The first room they gave me was way too hot, I asked to change rooms the next day. When i moved the new room didn't have a working bathroom door, it didn't shut. It says Air Conditioning in the ad but they only had heat. I had to rely on the windows to cool down my room. When I was there, they didn't have working water for an entire day, and they didn't discount my stay when I asked because I wasn't able to shower that morning. Luckily it only lasted half a day and I was able to get water after lunch.

I really enjoyed the buffett breakfast, and the indoor pool. The room was spacious and the cleaning service didn't disappoint.

We stuck in the elevator with my family and could not reach the reception. Luckily my husband was not with us, so we called him and he went down to them ask for help.
