I would have ordered coffee from the lobby cafe but it was priced very high, its as if they are taking advantage of the fact the hotel is isolated from local coffee shops.

Overall we had a great stay here. The room was small but well appointed and clean. The bed was a little too firm but we had what we needed to be comfortable in the room, great towels! The location is on a island in the Danube and if you like to run or walk there's an amazing 5km loop around the island. We typically took Bolt taxis to and from town when needed, and they were reliable and affordable. We had great breakfasts at the hotel, lots of variety! The lobby and ground are beautiful.

Great location at the Margaret island with the bus stop just behind the hotel bringing you to the vibrant Nyugati area that is the beating heart of Pest. the hotel is tastefully decorated and it has a very authentic fin de siecle spirit. Breakfast was very good and the spa area is just perfect.

I stay in this hotel For the 3rd time, great combination of proximity to the centre of Budapest and thermal SPA.The staff is super friendly and welcoming, unique spa treatments and good food

Your bartender girl in the Grand Hotel decided to close at 21:58 instead of 22 hours as published. And she was not willing to give me another glass of wine. This was my only unpleasant experience at your hotel.

I am very satisfied with the room: it is cosy, functional, clean, beautiful, warm, a lot of fresh air due to the high ceiling . Excellent breakfast, food to every taste. Very friendly personnel, eager to help with everything! A special thank you for the birthday present!

The hotel could have provided some more information on how to get about i.e., how to buy a bus or tram ticket and/or how to get about e.g., a map of the island and the tram routes etc... This would have been very helpful

The Ensana hotel facilities i.e., the spa and room were excellent. Being located on St Margit Island was a bonus, vey calm quiet and tranquil compared to the hub-bub of the city... We felt very lucky to be able to go out for a quiet walk first thing in the morning and in the evening with the trees and the bird song etc... The thermae spa was very clean, well managed and above expectations...

We like it all.

Lovely facility on an island that felt like a retreat from the city, yet the city was close by. Perfect place to enjoy both worlds. And the indoor pools and saunas were perfect!

Everything was just perfect. Hotel was very nice, old, but functional, clean and located perfectly. Spa was also great, especially sauna rituals lead by Baloo. Very entertaining.

The hotel was spectacular, luxury treatment, the staff helpful and always smiling, kind and proactive. Breakfast was amazing, many tasty options and the rooms were charming and clean. The island overall is a picturesque paradise, especially in the spring, along with the spa, will provide guests with a deep relaxing experience 😊

Grand Hotel is beautiful historical building located in a park. Our room was spacious and we enjoyed Danube view. Thermal spa are easily accessible. Bus stop is only a few minutes walk from a hotel doorstep and it takes approx. 20 minutes to reach the city center. We used combination of bus line 26 and tram no. 2.

I could hear a lot of the sounds from neighbouring rooms, it made it hard to sleep at times.

The location is stunning, Margit Sziget is a wonderful place. The room was huge and comfortable. The staff were super lovely!

In the picture it looks luxurious but in reality most probably it was once (plenty of details to work on). However, impressive location.

That is one big resort, with thermal water and all connected to health spa in the middle of the Danube. WIFI works great, staff is nice, Dinner buffet - amazing.

Location is amazing with walking paths all over the Margaret Island and many activities. Evening view over the river is breathtaking. Hotel is nice with great breakfast.

It was a shame the eating facilities were very limited - would have loved to have spent an evening getting dressed up for dinner but the choice was so limited we had to venture further afield.

Nothing - it’s a lovely place to stay

We’ve stayed here many times and although the property exterior could do with a touch of paint, the grounds are beautiful, the bedrooms classically designed and always nice and clean
