There were no towels and shower gel available in the room. We asked the maid for it and she gave us her own shampoo which was very kind of her.

Cheap, basic but clean. Breads, ham, cheese, eggs etc for breakfast. The man on reception was really helpful with directions for the tram and letting us leave our luggage after checkout and then helping us with the taxi to the port as the directions were not very clear.

The oldness of the hotel furniture and the fact that many of the furniture were made of wood gave me a good feeling. I think there should be more old and nostalgic furniture.

The room could have been a bit cleaner, there were hair all over the room, the tv did not work (probably in the last couple of years), but decent place to rest after a long day in Budapest.

You can see by the price it is not the Plaza Athene, so do not expect it. Excellent location for public transport, and many must-see places are nearby the hotel. Basic breakfast, but good. They offer breakfast early enough to start your city trip with full stomach. Really good price for the location including breakfast, lots of options in walking distance for dinner.

As i read in some review, there were some long hairs on the floor of my room and bathroom. Everyday when i was out, they came into my room (without my permission) for cleaning. But i just noticed that they folded the sheets, put clean towels, and change the location of few things in a different way i left them. And the floor still with long hairs. So instead of cleaning, i feel they just go into the room and change the location of the things

Nice 3* hotel, and the room was quite good. Breakfast is a bit simple, but they have a bit of variety of food and was good enough. The room was big enough and confortable.

The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, clearly having been used for a long time, with signs of wear. The mattress in the bed was probably brand new and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was not luxurious, but there was plenty of everything. Good price-quality ratio.

The bathroom could benefit from more maintenance. The door didn't want to close, and also shower door is a tricky and could break down. But for a short stay it is completely fine.

The location is superb. The room was spacious enough for four persons. The breakfast is good, nothing much wow, but good enough. Stuff was friendly. It is quite okay to find out your room and around. The terrace from the kitchen is definitely great.

The cleaning needs to be improved. Ants in the room (on the 5th floor!). Garbage from previous guests left on the bathroom mirror shelf indicates cleaning was performed very quickly. And the narrow gap (1 inch) between the bed and a cabinet hasn't been vacuumed in ages. The ants probably like the dust piling up in there. Very bright light from the ceiling revealed all the dirt. Come on, at least take care of the obvious errors!

There was only ONE bath towel in the room. Applied to the reception requesting another towel but the reply was negative. A man who introduced himself as the Manager replying to my question - "Why there is no towel for face?" said - "Why the sun is rising from the East?" / Staff not client oriented/ The buffet breakfast was with limited variety but enough not to leave hungry.

Well, the WiFi didnt work at fifth floor. Also I asked for a king-size bed and instead I got two single beds put together. I mean, I am not spoiled but this should be explained prior to the booking. The breakfast were kinda modest. I would recommend this place, if you go to some kind of weekend-trip to Budapest with friends and you need just a low-budget accommodation for that.

The position of the hotel is very good - 15min walk from Nyugati train station, directly at Octogon and like 20min walk to the city center. This was ok, the hotel felt like a rebouilt house into hotel units.
