• Internet Connectivity: The Wi-Fi connection is not reliable, which can be a significant issue for guests needing to work remotely. This aspect could greatly benefit from improvement to accommodate the needs of remote workers.

Our stay at the Aquaterrace hotel was a delightful breath of fresh air. This small-scale hotel provides a more intimate experience with its limited number of rooms, which we greatly appreciated. We spent one night in the lower room, which was spacious and adorned with delicately placed frangipani flowers everywhere, including the bathroom, adding a romantic touch. The sea view is simply stunning, visible from the bedroom, toilet, and bathroom. The toiletry products are of excellent quality, and the private little terrace is a real bonus. It is cozy, equipped with a mobile table that allows for working while enjoying the view, and offers direct pool access and the option to have breakfast delivered without extra charge. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious, with a special mention for the Japanese dishes offered. The only significant downside for us was the internet connection. Since we work remotely, a reliable Wi-Fi connection is essential. Unfortunately, the network was insufficient for our professional needs, which prevented us from extending our stay, although we would have liked to. This aspect is crucial for remote workers and might need some improvement.

Location is not the most convenient if you don't have transport. Aircon didn't work the best, so it can get rather hot in the room sometimes. Despite that, it is a rather lovely place to chill for a couple of days.

The view is amazing and the service from the staff was really good. The breakfast was lovely (toast was delicious haha) and the food from the restaurant was great too. And they'll bring it to your room so you can enjoy your meal on the balcony if you prefer.

Car transport booked via the hotel to get around locally was expensive compared to what you would pay in Seminyak/Changu area. 100k one way between the hotel and Jemeluk Beach or other areas around there.. As Amed is a series of villages and beaches and there are lots of hills you need your own transport or take a scooter or car to get around if you want to leave the area of the hotel. If you are happy to stay around the hotel, it is lovely, so that wouldn't be an issue. We will probably rent a scooter next time we are in the area.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great food from the hotel cafe, great location next to a lovely beach. Simple but nicely styled and very clean room. They also supply nice botanical bathroom products, body cream, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. You can snorkel off the beach and see lots of tropical fish. This is the spot if you want a relaxing holiday. We had one day where some rubbish was washed in but was cleaned up very quickly, we were there just after monsoon season.. Will be returning next time I am in Bali.

Hotel is located on two different sides of the road and they are not next to each other. It took me few minutes to find the reception as nobody was responding my call. I think it would be great to indicate it in a better way. Also, pool tiles are chipped in some places and I got hurt because of sharp edges. Additionally, ants that were everywhere were giving me a hard time.

Incredible views from the balcony, all meals can be brought to your room on demand. Prices are reasonable. Staff was really helpful and tried their best to provide with the best possible service. I got discount for massage as well as laundry. I would definitely come back here!

There were many tomcat insects in the room (their sting can be really painful and bruise the skin) and though the staff helped me remove some of them I constantly had to use a lot of bugspray all the time. The towels' quality wasn't the best, they left tiny pieces of it on your skin when drying up.

Amazing view and closeness of the ocean, falling asleep to the sound of it. Light and mostly quiet room, nice breakfast, helpful staff.

The location was great for a getaway but it did feel quite secluded so a bit hard to get around unless you have your own scooter. Otherwise, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway then it's perfect!

The room was amazing, with beautiful sea views and lots of space and a large bathroom! The staff were so friendly and the breakfast had a load of options and all were delicious, bonus there is a great restaurant and spa attached to the place too!

It was our 4th return to this wonderful gem. That should be enough to explain how pleased we are to have discovered them. The staff is always the best, the views to the sea are positively romantic, the rooms are clean and well thought out. The staff arrange scooters for us and the bikes have always been nice and functional. If we take off for a few days on the scooters, the staff take care of our luggage until we come back. We love it there!

It was a great place to just go and relax after a busy week in Ubud. Lovely place to go and do snorkeling. Jist remember to put on a LOT of sunscreen ;) The massages were also amazing! Sunsets were beautiful! Couldn't get enough pictures of the view - stunning!

Aquaterrace Amed was one of the nicest places we stayed at during our trip to Bali. The place is really beautiful with gorgeous views of the ocean and is reminiscent of Santorini in Greece. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a good swimming pool to enjoy. The breakfast was superlative – probably the best breakfast we ever had at any of the places we stayed at. Portions were generous and it was absolutely delicious. The venue is located some distance from the centre of Amed, but if that is what you are looking for, i.e. some privacy, or do not mind the distance, Aquaterrace is highly recommended. There are food options nearby, as well as at the accommodation itself.
