눉The rooms are very clean and include all you need, but they are not as nice and modern as the outdoor area. And the place is pretty close to the street, so you do hear some noise from time to time.
눇We stayed one night at Café Alberto after we climbed Mt Rinjani and loved the huge, comfy bed and the outdoor area: the pool, the bean bags, the restaurant where you sit directly at the beach... amazing! And the food is sooooo good! The staff is also very helpful and friendly and Giuseppe even welcomed us personally and checked that everything was ok. We would definitely recommand this place for a stopover or dinner!!!

눇The location is amazing, right near the beach, close to town where you'll find plenty of great restaurants and shops, and at night, quiet despite being near the main road. The staff and owner Giuseppe, were all incredibly helpful and friendly. In the morning they asked if they could help with the days activities, and they did with great advice and ideas. Now for the food they served...brilliant, the Italian meals for dinner were simple but so tasty and well cooked and breakfast was always enjoyed...try the fried noodles for breakfast...delicious. Everything was great about Alberto's and it's a place I would love to visit again.

눉- The lighting in the rooms is very poor; it makes it a real challenge to have a shower or put on make up after dark. - The rooms themselves could do with a lick of paint (white, rather than grey!) and a general update. They are also lacking a fridge, which is essential for a B&B in hot location I think. - Whilst all staff were polite, we didn't get the same level of personal service that we did elsewhere. We stayed in two other bed and breakfasts in Bali and for a very similar price per night, you got a far superior room and excellent attention to detail. Our hosts also made sure we had everything we needed and advised us on places to go etc. At Cafe Alberto, the owner said hello on the day we arrived and the day we left and then provided a booklet of trips (most of which you purchased from them) to choose from. We had chosen this place as we thought it would be personal because there are only four rooms, but the busy restaurant takes priority for the staff I feel. Saying that, we'd stay there again if we returned to Senggigi as it is probably the best option for a very reasonable price. Just things for them to work on in our opinion.
눇- The location is second to none. It's beachfront in a quiet area, but a short walk everywhere in Senggigi - There are two sun beds reserved for you all day so that you always have somewhere to relax no matter when you choose to do so. - Great swimming pool that was always fairly quiet. - Room #1 was right on the beach and you could only hear the sound of the waves between 11pm and 8am. Very peaceful and a beautiful view.
